Handwritten Speech on note cards, with 2 autographed TV Week Books **From the Collection of Debby Sheuchenko: In 1970, Debby Lough Whorley Sheuchenko, met Bob Hope backstage at the Miss USA contest, representing Virginia, she was 2nd Runner-Up to Miss USA World. Having no interest in show business, turning down his subsequent offer to do a Hollywood Screen Test, she did, however, accept his offer to audition for the 1971 Christmas Trip to Vietnam.
Those 3 weeks overseas changed her life. She eventually became his booking agent for College and Benefit Concerts and, eventually, became the opening singer for those concerts. Being "On the Road with Hope", had lots of down time and, to entertain herself, she started collecting Bob Hope Memorabilia which he signed while they were together. In return, when he saw something rare that piqued his interest, he took it and put it in his Museum. Through the years, she also booked shows for Red Skelton, George Burns, The Smothers Brothers and others. At 75, she's now ready to share her massive autographed collection with others. L5C
