NAME:Archie
BREED: Thoroughbred
SEX: Gelding
HEIGHT: 16.1hh(Not measured)
AGE: 7
Archie was brought ott may 2024 , I went to buy one but came home with him as well , popped out in the paddock for 6 months ,for a spell (time gets away ) brought in and ridden around farm exposed to cows motorbikes and the accasional paddock bomb reaved around , but always on the back burner when I had time , took out to a few clinics , a couple of lessons , cross country and trail ridden , he shows a great attitude with no hotness jig jog , can go in front behind or in the middle happy to just take in the scenery , jumping has a nice technique but I don't think he's a world beater , my opinion. Has a lovley canter trot and lovley movement , will get both leads but still green in his education, will self load , does move a bit when in by himself for that reason I'm a fan of the hinez hoods . He don't move if he has a friend , has been paddocked with 4 other horses , also on his own , can't say what he'd be like as an only horse as they always have friends at mine , he eats everything in site so not a fussy eater , is a dream to stand by the float , tie up and tack up , good for the farrier have only had a couple of sets of shoes on , , if left for a long period of time can be a little cold backed a pig root , and a playful jump around , I lunge (getting to old ) and with regular work I'd just jump on but again that just me , teeth where done in may 2024 , body work done in may also , drenched , so all the scary start has been done just need to make him to what suits. A start of foundation is already there up for action for a low reserve as welfare is more important than money , reason for sale is I'm out for a few months with a broken ankle motorbike related and being 56 time to step back a bit , will not suit a beginner , first big horse , he’s an ott so not a kids pony
