Nick Hufford Original Oil on canvas painting of a young boy and his dog. Canvas size is 19.5" x 23.5" with an overall framed size of 24.5" x 29". Wood frame with a linen inner mat. Appears to have been a private commission. Hufford, (1915-1986) was an artist known for his commercial art illustrations, and portraits. He painted a portrait of President Eisenhower that hangs in the Hall of Generals at the Pentagon. You have seen his work frequently, you just didn't realize it, as he was the creator behind the advertising images known as "Quaker Oats Man" and of "Aunt Jemima."

Saddam Hussein US Dollar Bill Carpet Fragment. A very interesting piece of history, salvaged from the Gulf War. These US dollar bills are printed on cloth and is a fragment of the carpet that was on Hussein's parade field and at the palace. It is considered the ultimate disrespect in that country to show someone the soles of their feet, so Hussein had this carpet printed so his military people would walk on it. Comes with a 2-page email from a US Marine who shares his 9/11 experiences and the background on this piece of carpet. This item is de-accessioned from a museum and has a label attached to the back. This auction lot is a donation and full proceeds will go to the Brotherhood of Heroes Resource Center & Museum, located in Cape Coral, FL.

Abbe (1916-1983). From 1940 to 1943, William Abbe served as an illustrator for the United States Army. In 1944 and 1945 he was an official artist for the military in France and Germany. At the end of the war he accepted the post of artist-in-residence and teacher at St. Paul's School, Concord, New Hampshire. He remained there for thirty-two years and retired in 1981. He also spent most of his summers and all of his retirement in the Cape Cod area of Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard, where he maintained a permanent studio.

The first in the Data Bank line with a touchscreen, this watch allowed users to operate its various functions with just a fingertip. In fact, per the Internet, to emphasize that everything could be done on the screen, the designers provided no buttons or crown. The large, full-screen dot-matrix LCD displayed graphics including a world map, as well as letters, numbers, and Japanese katakana characters. Boasting the Casio Telememo function to help users keep track of calendar entries, addresses, and more, this watch was full of user-friendly perks, including world time.

Orrefors Olle Alberius Signed Bird on a Stump Crystal Sculpture. This heavy and substantial table-top crystal sculpture of a bird on a stump/branch is 10" tall and 3.5" at its widest. Etched and signed on the bottom "Orrefors 4288-111 Olle Alberius".

Set Of 2 Stylish Crystal Diamond Bookends. One is clear, the other is colored. Somewhat heavy, each one is 6" tall, 5.5"in length, and 3.75" in width. A few nicks along the edge is noted on the clear one, and 1 chip on the backside of the colored one.

Vintage Cello/Violin Embossed metal music box which plays "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head". No makers or manufacturers marks. Measures 9" in length and 3.5" in width. Part of the hinge is loose.

Robert L. Conely "Those Who Care" an artist pencil signed print featuring Doctor and medical field related items. Vintage artwork from 1978. Double matted under glass. Image size is 22.75" x 17" with an overall framed size of 29.5" x 23.5". Robert L. Conely, 1946-2010, was an artist primarily known for his drawings of military aircraft. He also did what are termed "professions prints", often in limited editions. This one is aimed at the health care profession.

Howard Behrens, a fine art print titled "Montreux". Plate signed. Double matted and ready for a frame. Overall size is 32" x 25". Previously framed. Print and matting only. Behrens was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1933. He grew up near Washington, DC. He began drawing at age seventeen after being confined to bed following a sledding accident. His formal education in art was at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned a master's degree in painting and sculpture. Behrens was hired by the United States Government Printing Office, where his father was employed as a printer, and worked there for the next seventeen years. Behrens resided in Potomac, Maryland and died on April 14, 2014 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

William Conklin Radiographic Shell Art Murex Alabaster. Photographic and radiographic prints of a seashell made by William Conklin in 1982. A limited-edition, this is number 86 of 1000. From Conklins book Inner Dimensions. Conklin (1926-2006) was known for his different sets of x-rayed seashells, this one is a Murex Alabaster, a predatory species of sea snail, a marine gastropod often referred to as the murex or rock snails. It is found in the waters around Japan, Taiwan, and down to the Philippines. Single matted under glass. Frame size is 20" x 16".

Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt "Das Duet" Two Cats Signed Etching Print. Signed in pencil in the lower right. Kurt Meyer-Eberhardt (1895-1977) is one of the most famous and revered 20th century dog artists. He was born in 1895 in Leipzig , Germany and died in Munich in 1977. He studied at the Weimar Academy of Fine Arts, where he became a student under the artists Theodor Hagen and Lionel Feininger. He rejected a professorship in Weimar and went to Munich in 1918, where he decided to work entirely on animal engravings. Single matted under glass, in a wood frame. Some foxing and light staining noted due to its age. Image size is 10.5" x 9" with an overall frame size of 21" x 17". In 1926 he held his last exhibition in the "New Secession." He was a staunch individualist who rejected the offer of a professorship in Weimar because he valued his independence too much. The only thing he wanted was to continue depicting his beloved dogs, cats and other animals.
