2008 BMW 535xi 213,000k
Starts, runs and drives.
This car has been owned by the same driver for 10 years, mechanically well maintained, the last few years it was his primary winter car.
The Bad:
- Cosmetic “scouring” of the paint no idea what causes it, it has not been in a mechanical car wash
- A “scuff” on the driver’s side front bumper has been there since he purchased the car.
- Car could use a set of front brakes
- There’s a significant oil leak up front, not sure where it’s coming from
- Trunk “open” light intermittently comes on, there’s a short in the harness
The Good:
- One year old Michelin Cross climate 2’s all the way around ($970)
- All wheel drive, twin turbo
- Interior is in good condition
- Great sound system
- AC Blows cold
- Heated seats AND steering wheel
- Folder of much of the maintenance she’s had over the years
- Easiest vehicle I’ve ever done an oil change on
The vehicle is super comfortable to drive, last winter I took it to Montreal and back, she’s a great road trip car with that BMW performance, just needs some attention.
