Iberian Peninsula, Spain, rare Spanish Trabuco military flintlock rifle 18th century. Heavy Iron chiseled lock with massive Frizzen, pan, and hammer in iron. Stuck with a hammers mark to the lock plate reading "LA, SRI, ATE, CVI" under the Spanish crown. Fantastic original finish browned barrel with engraved tang. Octagonal to round with transitional chiseled and gilt band. Flared blunderbuss muzzle 1.5" opening. Inlaid with three gold fleur de lis, the Spanish cross, and silver inlaid series of fleur de lis to the base of the barrel. Two makers marks including a lower example of the rampant lion. Above a hallmark reading "AGN, YTV, RRL, OZ" under the Spanish Crown. Trigger guard frame also hallmarked and gilt "AL, BER, DT" under the crown. Walnut stock in original condition. Excellent working condition. Size 48 1/4" L, barrel 33 1/4" L
