The Following information was provided in an Appraisal Completed May 2nd, 2023.
Engine: The engine was very clean, with some very minor oily residue around the crankcase dipstick, but no visible fluid leaks of any kind. The fan belt and radiator hoses were in very good condition. The engine had been completely rebuilt, started easily, and idled smoothly. Wiring was properly routed and well secured. Engine compartment metal surfaces were painted and in very good condition, The engine ignition was equipped with an electrical shut-off switch.
Chassis: The chassis and suspension were in very good condition, with no fluid leaks from the transmission or suspension components. The transmission, differential, and all suspension components had been rebuilt or replaced. All undercarriage metal surfaces were properly painted and in very good condition. The pickup was equipped with factory wire wheels with chrome center caps. Wheels were nicely painted and original-appearing tires had excellent tread depth and no irregular or uneven wear patterns. A matching fender-mounted spare wire wheel and tire were also in excellent condition, as was the exhaust system.
Interior: The interior was in excellent condition. The seat and door panels were reupholstered in new original-style material. Interior body panels were covered in complementary vinyl material and the floor was covered in a new original-appearing rubber mat. The original dash cluster was refurbished and fully operational. The tops of the doors and dash trim had received faux wood-grain finish all in excellent condition. All interior handles and knobs were in excellent condition. The steering column and original steering wheel appeared as new. The wood in the bed floor had replaced with new and was beautifully finished. The bed was also fitted with new period-correct wood side rails.
Exterior: The exterior of the pickup was finished in two-tone base-coat/clear-coat paint that showed excellent gloss and reflectivity, and was free of rock chips, scratches oe damage of any kind. Fit of the doors, hood, and tail gate was very good. The chrome finish on the headlights, grille shell, cowl lamps, tail lights, and front and rear bumpers was excellent. Exterior door handles and hood trim were in also in excellent condition. All glass was also in excellent condition. The padded vinyl covering on the roof of the cab appeared as new. The tailgate embossed Ford logo was accented with contrasting pinstriping.
Summary Comments: This is a popular Ford pickup that has undergone a comprehensive, meticulous, body-off-the frame restoration to better than factory-new condition. It has been carefully maintained and stored inside since the restoration was completed. It is fully functional in every respect, and has been only sparingly and occasionally driven to help preserve its like-new
