This is a very good type of mare who has had one foal with a previous owner. Was registered during her well accomplished show career in Vic, I have her rego card but it’s just not current. She was by a world champion sire who was brought down under from the USA for half a breeding season. To my understanding of what I was told, Delta was the only filly bred by him. I really wanted a foal from her but am not in a position to do so now sadly. She is very well trained, mostly western style, can jump a little, been to Team Penning and do most anything really. Of course brilliant at obstacles. I used her successfully in extreme cowboy racing for a short 2 yr period in 2020/2021 where we won a number of ribbons in the few events attended. We also did an International virtual buckle series winning Australian Reserve Champ one year and Australian Champion the other year in our division. While chiefly very quiet and easy to float, trim, worm etc she is no longer tolerant of beginners as too smart and gets a bit cantankerous with being pulled about as she is too well trained for that. Can be ridden in a bosal and has won classes in it. Has a very easy self carriage. She has some superficial scarring on hind legs but nothing that interferes with her at all and no lumps, clean tendons. No other injuries or health issues whatsoever since I've owned her but does get very sensitive to bugs/flies so has to be rugged or will itch badly. I recently put a hybrid rug on but the mozzies/sandflies are fierce here on the North Coast and she has rubbed a patch on her upper shoulders at the moment where they bit through the mesh, so put a full cotton back on and is now recovering. More than sad to be moving her on but at 64 yoa I'm winding down a bit due significant health/pain issues, only have 5 ac so too expensive to keep more than 2 here now also. Has only been used on and off about 8 times in past 2 yrs and is too good to not be used. Last time I rode her was 8 mths ago, no trouble at all just a bit crabby if pushed while unfit, can be a little testy in a marey way. She works well in bridle or bosal, has all the moves including counter bend, can be roped off, not afraid of anything but will be rusty currently due idle paddock time. Only able to get a little current vid in yard on the ground yesterday as have no one to video for me on her. The ridden vids were back in 2020/21. Would also be fabulous as a Working Equitation mount! She'd breeze through that but unfortunately didn't get there the past 2 yrs as planned. She's well worth good dollars and someone is going to have a lot more fun with her but need to sell as can't afford to keep her any more on a pension etc. Delta has been wormed 3.5 wks ago and trimmed 3 wks ago.
