Unsure on his breeding but looks like an Australian saddle pony cross. Truffles was re-started roughly 2 months ago and has been ridden by a young girl for a few weeks. He is really cool, calm and kind and just wants to be your friend. More woah than go. Can be a little piggy when asked to canter but nothing nasty just a little kick up that he comes out of and I believe he will stop completely with consistent work and time. Truffles is still green to ride, and even though he is quiet and has no shy or nasties, can get flustered when asked for too much and isn’t suited to his current owner. She is a very sweet mare who loves to please and is easy to handle. Currently in light work, she would benefit from an experienced rider, as she can be fresh under saddle if left for a while. When in work, she is a good horse and is well-behaved at the walk, trot, and canter. Honey is also good to float, pick up her feet, and generally well-mannered. She gets along great with other horses and shows no signs of aggression. He has a fast walk and is brave under saddle. Chappy has been ridden down the road, had things dragged off him, and will stay hobbled without issue. He will also lead off the tractor, etc., with no problems. Before coming to us, Chappy spent several years untouched in the paddock. Because of this, he can be shy and nervous until he gets to know you. However, once he becomes familiar with you and is in consistent work, he is fantastic. He will follow you around the paddock, is great to catch, ties up anywhere, and is good to rug. He loads onto any float or truck with ease.
