This magnificent sculpture is one of the original totems made by artists Kevin and Shawn Gadomski. It is 16" tall and the natural wood base is 4 1/2" in in diameter. It is signed on the base The totems retail for $1,200.00 to $1,500.00, and each one is crafted from wood, leather, fur, beads and other natural materials. The animal totems were inspired by stories and legends from Shawn Gadomski's Ojibway (Chippewa) heritage. Each hand crafted "Manitou" (or "Spirit" in Ojibway/Chippewa) has a special meaning and message for the person possessing it. The Eagle is considered to be a messenger to the Great Spirit, carrying prayers between the World of Earth and The World of the Spirit. The bald eagle is considered to be a courageous, great leader and the Eagle is devoted to the path of peace. Overall the sculpture is in magnificent condition. We have another of their totems, also made by Kevin and Shawn Gadomski.
