Comprising 15 albums with approx. 25-45 images per album, several albums inscribed in pencil includes "Vaughn S. Jenkins – Dow, NH/Mass, A New England Family", another "Family of Patrick and Julia Carney, 1880, Castleton, VT" with eleven individuals identified, another "Helen Huston Blakes Tintype Book" identifying many surnames including Blake, Marshall, Darre, Thurston, White, Waterman, Gardner, Smith, Kelso, Jones, Hackett, Baxter, Russell, Browning, Lynch and more, another album bears the surnames Bullard, Vallou, Strange, Smith, Seay, Bundy, Townsend, Bundage, Hardiman, Holtzman, Burch, Burnage, Church, Wedell, Foster and McCarthy, one album belonging to May Hilton and another to Myra Griffin, dated 1874, albums in generally poor/fair condition with age related wear, browning spots, tears, loose and/or separated spine folds, losses, etc., tintype conditions vary.
PROVENANCE: Early photography collection of Kenneth Rodgers, 92 years young. Formerly of Sullivan County, NY. The collection spans over 45 years and was acquired from shows, antique malls, shops, outdoor markets and private collectors throughout the East Coast and parts of the Midwest.
