This is an early model 12 manufactured in 1953 with a full choke barrel with 2 3/4" chamber. Camo tape covers most of the metal parts but some removal for ID purposes reveals average wear and bluing loss for the age. Bore is gray but shows no rust pitting. As is with most Arisakas that survived after the end of the war, the chrysanthemum on the top of the receiver has been ground off. All other markings are present.
