*AS PROVIDED BY VENDOR *
Nubian goats, selling as a small herd.
Adult buck, Umber, 2 years old faded dappled boy that throws good colours, disbudded with scurring.
Adult doe, Biscotti, 3 years old silver sable girl, disbudded.
Coke, doe born Winter 2023, almost fully black girl, not disbudded.
Pepper, doe born Winter 2023, black with silver ears, not disbudded.
Baxter, buckling born spring 2024, tri-coloured, not disbudded.
All except Baxter know their names and will come for a treat or eat out of your hand, Baxter is at the right age to start learning this, I use horse treats to train them and have to find the right treat to appeal to him.
Scottie originates from a small goat dairy and has previous experience with being milked, the other girls have never been milked before. Coke is the mother of Baxter and Pepper has never had a kid as yet, but this is their first breeding season, so milking is something they wouldn't have learnt until now. We don't milk our goats, they're purely pets.
The Nubians belonged to my elderly mother and she doesn't want the work or expense of helping to care for them anymore, so she gave them to me. I don't want them, I keep Boer goats and a couple of rangelands as pets, but don't want a large herd. I'm currently selling some of my Boers as well, because I have too many goats.
They're being sold through no fault of their own, they're lovely, friendly goats that I'm very fond of. I just need to reduce numbers and plan to go back to only having the few pets I'm supposed to have, because it's too much work with this many.
They would suit someone looking for a friendly hobby herd that are easy handle and come when called.
