Lead UK Block Instrument - Liversedge. See description
Description
The vendor has provided the following helpful information: It looks like it came from either Cleckheaton or Heckmondwike signal box on the The Spen Valley Line (aka the Mirfield to Low Moor Railway) in West Yorkshire. The name plate 'Liversedge' shows which Signal Box the signalman was communicating with. The signal boxes in order were at Cleckheaton, Liversedge and Heckmondwike. The railway line opened in 1847. It closed to passengers in 1965 and goods traffic in the 1980s. It was originally operated by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, and then the London and North Western Railway. There was another railway running parallel, with the same station names, called the Leeds New Line, but it wasn't opened until 1900. Block Instrument is about 48cm high T3 3 F L

Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving your invoice by email. Non-payment after 3 days or unless by arrangment, sale will be cancelled. Payment options include Direct Deposit, Credit Cards in person or over the phone (Visa Mastercard & Amex), Eftpos or Cash on Collection. A Credit Card Fee of 1% to 1.5% will be applied if paying by credit card and Eftpos fees of .65% apply as charged to Manshed by the P.O.S provider.
