This unique assortment of carefully curated items comes from a collector instilled early in life with an appreciation of the Southwest by a relative. Years later, the collector’s life led to connections and friendships in New Mexico with an emphasis on the Taos Valley. In this auction, you will find one-of-a-kind paintings, sketches, pottery, jewelry, textile artwork, books, photographs, correspondence, U.S. Cavalry McClellan saddles, and an assortment of beautiful home decor. Also included in the auction is a special reserve of 1920s to 1940s Hollywood pre-production storyboards and movie studio artwork including “Gone with the Wind,” “Lost Horizon,” “State Fair,” and “Hurricane.” Storyboards were meant to be destroyed after production, so they are very rare. The artwork has been owned by one of the artist’s families since production and is being made available to the public for the very first time. We are honored to share pieces of this personal treasure trove with you here at Method Estate Management!
