So here is a special one. It is so far the ONLY signed and dated photo we have found that is attributed to William Eggleston. Hand signed in pen and dated "68" on the reverse. No claims of authenticity made here as this is just an attribution but it looks pretty great to us. And the image is a FANTASTIC image.
Here is what we know, these items were in box marked "Eggleston." If you are familiar with the work of William Eggleston you may be familiar with some of these images. Some appear to have notes on the reverse while others do not. Eggleston and Jim were tight, so we feel the attribution is appropriate. We do not know who printed them, we do not know when or where they were printed but they are presumably vintage. Any information that we have regarding these images is contained in this description. They are authentic vintage printed photographs (i.e. not modern facsimiles or prints) and as mentioned, this is the only signed one we have found.
Measures 11x14, some wear to the edges. Chipping, discoloration, etc.
