TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
TERMS: Payment of the sale price shall be made in cash and animals shall not be
released to the buyer until satisfactory settlement has been made. Title to the livestock
does not pass to purchaser until collection is made on cheque or draft. E-Transfer is available at : accounting@walkerdairy.ca.
Clerical errors are subject to correction.
BIDS: The auctioneer shall accept all bids, other than those considered to be
irresponsible and the bidder offering the highest bid shall be the buyer. In case of dispute
as to the successful bidder, the animal shall be sold to the bidder from whom the sales management deems the highest bidder.
Every animal advertised for sale at auction is pledged to absolute and positive sale.
By bidding is prohibited except in the case of joint ownership when the purpose for the
bidding is to re-apportion the owners' shares and provided that the intention to so bid and
purpose thereof, is announced prior to all bidding for the animal.
RISK: Animal's error noted in the catalogue will be announced in cattle details section online.
WARRANTIES: The seller warrants clear title to and the right to sell each animal
offered for sale are warranted to be sound. Further, we make no guarantees against
hardware or twisted stomachs, etc.
GENERAL WARRANTIES:
Walker Dairy Inc. acts as the Sellers' agent only and is not personally responsible for any warranties, guarantees or representations made bona fide in reliance upon information provived by the Consignor. The Consignor is responsible for all such warranties, guarantees and representations.
**Note** - Once the Lot Closes, it is the Buyers Responsibily. The Buyer is Responsible for the transfering of any animals and any fees associated with the transfer.
Cattle selling at Walker Dairy Inc.'s monthly dairy auction may be inspected before loading.
