Beginning things with brilliance, easily one of Marvel, or all of comic-dom’s for that matter, biggest and most recognized villain, Norman Osborn aka The Green Goblin here in his first ever appearance — Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue 14 from July of 1964, the first Goblin, first meet-up between Spidey and Hulk, first B.J. Cosmos and a stunner iconic cover from Ditko. I’ve seen this comic at a few cons but never until now had the pleasure of holding it, what an absolute treat. Condition: the biggest blemish is the third page is detatched with some chipping to its edge, a tiny chip to the top right corner on cover, a very brief bit of creasing to the spine and bottom edge but ultimately a beauty cover with vivid colors and good edges, the rest of the inner pages are concise and with even edges and sharp corners (besides page 3), some browning to frontispiece and backing but they remain sharp and clean besides the browning. Pictures of every single page included for this and many of these landmark lots. A pretty first barrage of pumpkin bombs!

The return of the dreadful doctor with "Turning Point," the second ever appearance of Doctor Otto Octavius aka Doc Ock in Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue number 11 from April of 1964, Kirby and Ditko on the tremendous cover as well as the first appearances of Blackie Gaxton and Bennett Brant. Pictures of every single page included as per all of these Spidey gems, condition: The letters page to the back of book looks to be missing, some minor to slight moderate spine wear and creasing to bottom and top on cover, one tiny chip to right bottom edge, mostly very even and concise inner pages with good edges however the first few pages have an inch tall brief tear to bottom, some slight browning and staining to back frontispiece and a very nice backing with one hard to see rip to the bottom.

Keeping with the tentacled tremendous times, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 12 from May of 1964, the third ever Doc Ock "Unmasked By Dr. Octopus" also being one of, if not the most enjoyed Octopus covers for Ditko, as Flash, Aunt May and Peter deal with the danger and dismay. Condition: a scuff to the corner box, spine creasing and a chip to top and bottom right edge, some browning to frontispiece and the top staple intact but bottom not, an advertising page missing to the mid-back of book, some slight foxing, browning and edge wear to back cover, nice inner pages besides the one missing, see every page in photos provided.

The greatest villain Parker had ever faced? To say a fan favorite is an understatement, Jake Gylenhaal take note — Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue number 13 June of 1964, the first appearance and origin of Mysterio and arguably one of the greatest Ditko covers for the first 20 issues of the series. Condition: honestly one of the nicest copies of the collection sent in from Dallas, Texas, the biggest blemish is a missing letters page toward back of book, otherwise only minor wear moments such as: a chip to the nice clean back cover near bottom staple, a few faint creases on cover, even and concise inner pages that are clean without any rips or tears.

Another staggering landmark from the very beginnings of Spidey lore, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue 9 from of February of 1964, the first appearance and Origin of Maxwell Dillon aka the shocking Electro, alongside first Doctor Bromwell. Practically surging with electric excellence. Condition: looks to be missing one of the ad pages to the back with only a faint corner remaining, other than that the inner pages are all great with terrific corners and edges, no tears, cover has some chipping to bottom and right edge as well as near top of corner box, slight browning to frontispiece and backing.

Peter Parker up against some merciless foes and early at that, the first appearance of The Enforcers and yet another banger of an important issue from Dick Ayers, Kirby, Ditko and Lee, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue number 10 from March of 1964, a few other minor first appearances as well. Condition: a quite beautiful and almost crease-less cover while it does have some faint wear to the corner tips and a browning to the opening right edge, inner pages are even and concise except for what looks to be a missing ad page to back and a tiny tear to page 13, 15 and 16, a very nice back cover with hardly and blemishes besides some brief browning, take a look in the photos, every page pictured.

The term iconic gets tossed around but it’s gonna be used a lot in this auction and it’s very much accurate and appropriate; let’s talk iconic, "How Green Was My Goblin" is just that, the great John Romita’s first work on ASM, the iconic battle between Goblin and Spidey, Goblin’s identity revealed and a cover that is instantly recognizable and insanely cool, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 39 from August of 1966. Condition: some chipping to top and right edge on cover, minimal faint creasing to spine and bottom, some slight browning to frontispiece and backing, a bent corner tip to page 9 and that’s about it for blemishes, concise sharp inner pages everywhere else with no other damages, great colors on cover, nice complete copy, pictures of every page included.

The first appearance and origin of Mark Raxton aka the hot headed Molten Man erupts here with this piping hot Peter Parker product, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 28 from September of 1965, "The Menace Of The Molten Man" is also the first use of the now common nerd-dom term, "Thwip? and easily one of the most unique covers by the legend Ditko. Condition: there’s a bunched crease tear to the right middle edge which is unfortunate because without it the cover would be quite delightful, slight nubbing to bottom of spine and some very slight spine wear, the first two pages are detatched and the last two pages have a chipping to bottom corner, pictures of every page included of course, brief browning to frontispiece and backing but they’re nice otherwise.

"The Return Of The Green Goblin" is just that and what a wonderful Thwip-tastic item it is, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 17 from October of 1964, guest starring Human Torch, the second ever Goblin, first ever Pumpkin Bombs and Goblin Glider, first Spider-Man Fan Club, first Wilson Allan, and more Marvel magic. Condition: an awesome cover, a small scuff bunched tear near Comics Code badge to top right, slight chip to bottom right corner tip, slight wear to spine, a cutout to page 20 and one of the ad pages to end of book is missing, concise sharp inner pages everywhere else, nice back cover with slight browning. Pictures of every page included.

"Spidey Strikes Back!" A collection of stunner Steve Ditko covers this collection is, the first appearance of Mac Gargan aka The Scorpion who’d become the Spidey foe next issue, plus the first Rock Gimpy in Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue number 19 from December of 1964. Condition: pictures of every page for all of these landmarks of course, cover has a tiny stain near bottom staple, a ding to center, a few tiny scuffs to bottom center and a tiny chip to bottom right corner, very nice otherwise, an ad page to the back of book is missing, concise even and sharp inner pages everywhere else, very nice back cover with a faint ding to bottom edge.

One of the nicest copies in this collection honestly but I’ll get to that later… A brilliant and fan-favorite Romita cover for this absolute Spidey gem, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 40 from September of 1966, "Spidey Saves The Day" the knockdown drag out battle between Peter and Norman, the Origin of Green Goblin told, all througout this book is iconic imagery. Now, condition: a faint bit of wear to the top and spine, beautiful colors on cover, truly terrific inner pages that are even, complete and concise, the only real blemish to this book is a pesky chip to the back cover, faint browning to it, actually a quite lovely copy. Take away that chip to back cover and the slight browning to frontispiece and this is an easy VF/F, as it remains, still a very pretty book.

The first appearance of Ned Leeds, later to become the treacherous Hobgoblin, as the Fantastic Four and the Avengers assist our friendly neighborhood wall-crawler in Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 18 from November of 1964, "The End Of Spider-Man" includes a cameo of Kraven, Doc Ock and Vulture with the first appearance of Rocky Roberts also. Condition: some chipping to spine, corner box and perimeter, the book is loose to the top staple but the bottom is intact, some chipping to opening edge of page 4, the rest of the inner pages have great corners and edges, concise and even, back cover with some brief browning, browning to frontispiece.

"The Goblin and The Gangsters" includes the third ever Green Goblin and first time Norman is shown out of his Goblin costume, first ever Lucky Lobo and Merriweather, second ever Frederick Foswell aka Big Man, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue 23 from April of 1965. Condition: a lot to explain here, chipping to spine and slight browning to right edge, browning to frontispiece and the book is barely attached to cover via the bottom staple, the first two pages are detatched and the letters page is missing which is unfortunate because it would’ve included a letter from future comic legend Jim Shooter and another page also missing, good edges and corners to remainder of pages with some very faint browning, browning to back cover and chipping to its spine.

Early evil teaming up with Vulture, Dr. Octopus and Sandman together against our friendly neighborhood do-gooder, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue number 24 from May of 1965, "Spider-Man Goes Mad." Condition: many of these Spidey gems have a page missing toward back of book for whatever reason, this one looks to be missing 1 or perhaps 2 as it’s very difficult to tell with very little remnants at all of the page or pages, but at least missing one page, some chipping to back cover spine and brief perimeter browning to it, the book is loose to the top staple as are the first 3 pages, bottom staple is intact, some browning and wear to right edge on cover with spine and perimeter wear.

"Make Way For…Medusa," the title for this Queen of The Inhumans feature, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue number 62 from July of 1968, the first appearance of Montgomery Bliss and Mr. Wilberforce for this brief tussle between Medusa and Spidey. Condition: browning to cover and foxing near spine, browning to frontispiece and backing, concise clean, even and sharp inner pages, one tiny ding to bottom corner of back cover.

"The Claws Of The Cat" showcases the first appear of Cat Burglar from the mighty Marvel squad of Ditko, Lee, Simek and Goldberg, Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 30 from November of 1965, also features a very early advertisement for Marvel shirts. Condition: if it weren’t for a tear down top through title and a chipping to bottom right corner this would be a fabulous cover, as it remains with that and some very slight spine wear, complete concise, colorful and nice even inner pages, awesome back cover with a super slight tinge of browning, same slight browning to frontispiece.

The question posed is "The Spider Or The Man?" For this Marvel milestone, the legendary cover by Romita and Giacoia, Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue 100 from September of 1971, cameos from a great many entities of Parker’s rogues gallery as Peter must decide whether to remain a superhero or dedicate his life to Gwen. Condition: some chipping to top left near corner box and center of right edge, brief nubbing to bottom right corner tip, off-white and concise inner pages with excellent edges and corners, one tiny dot stain and two small rips to back cover that remains nice.

"Beware…The Black Widow," as one could argue this epic one of the most important instances in Natasha Romanov’s history, the origin retold, a new look, new costume inspired by Spy-related TV programs of the time and ultimately a very cool and deadlier presence — Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 86 from July of 1970, setting her up for her next appearances in Amazing Adventures via Jim Mooney and Romita. Condition: a brief bit of nubbing to top and bottom right corner tips, faint browning tinge to right edge, ultimately a really nice cover with a minor bit of creases to spine, off-white concise inner pages with terrific edges and a very brief bending to corner tips, very nice backing with some faint rubbing/browning to spine.

Easily one of the coolest Lizard covers via Romita, "Spidey Smashes Out" is Doctor Connor’s third ever appearance, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 45 from February of 1967, with Spidey’s arm in a sling swinging directly into danger. Condition: a surface scuff and dotted stain to corner box, the faintest browning tinge to comics code stamp, brief wear to spine and chipping to bottom corners, browning to frontispiece, concise complete and even inner pages however the word bubbles have been filled in with pen to fill-in page 19 top panel which was typical for this issue, browning to frontispiece and left corners chipped, spine wear.

"In The Hands of The Hunter" and “The Tentacles And The Trap” sandwiched together Spidey-style as Kraven The Hunter and Doc Ock take spotlight for Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issues 47 and 54 from April and November of 1967, two Romita pieces in one grab. Conditions: a browning tinge to cover and a chip to bottom for issue 47 and one to top right corner, a bunched corner and creased corner to back cover with some slight browning, even and sharp inner pages with a few chipped corner tips to a few pages near centerfold (very faint tiny tips), some chipping to spine and right edge for issue 54, browning to its frontispiece and backing, slight chipping to back cover bottom edge, mostly very nice inner pages.

Two absolute landmarks that have sadly seen better days: Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 numbers 46 and 73 from March of 1967 and June of 1969, the first appearance and origin of Herman Shultz aka The Shocker, and then the first appearances of Man Mountain Marko and Silvermane, Buscema, Romita, Lee, Mooney, Severin, too many greats to name. Now, conditions: the cover is completely detatched to #46 and some pen marking to word bubble, chipping to its perimeter, back cover is missing, having said that, the inner pages are even and concise but one sendaway page to the back has some pen filling, then for #73, slight chipped corner tips to bottom on cover, one pesky sticker to the corner box that has probably been on so long removing it without further damaging it looks to be difficult, back cover has one ding to bottom edge and some minimal waving wear near its spine, mostly nice inner pages, intro page has a brief bottom corner tip folded slightly.

Thrills, spills and chills and one of the most infamous Spidey covers, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 38 from July of 1966, the first Crimson Bat and Tommy Tomkins plus second brief Mary Jane. This cover was the last to feature Ditko’s art and the legend didn’t approve a cover so Stan and company created one without him clipping pieces of his panels together to create one. Condition: much to mention, chipping to cover’s spine and right edge, chipping to perimeter of back cover with browning to it, the cover is attached via the top staple but bottom is loose as is much of it, centerfold page has loose bottom staple but still attached, three pages to back of book had a folded corner crease, a faint diagonal crease and browning to cover.

Breaks your Spidey heart to see important and iconic gems like this but at least you can say they were "much loved," Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 numbers 37, 42 and 53 from June and November of 1966 and October of 1967, the first appearance of Norman Osborn as himself, first full Mary Jane, second ever Rhino, first Mr.Dunlap, first Max Young, and more. Conditions: all three of these have detatched covers and severe chipping to their perimeters, 2 of the 3 backings are detatched as well, scattered wear to inner pages, included is photos of most inner pages and more.

The three-part Osborn drug arc complete here, the first three comics from a major publisher to be published without the approval of the CCA — Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 numbers 96, 97 and 98 from May, June and July of 1971, all Gil Kane covers except for issue 97 is Romita. Conditions: issue 97 has a quite lovely cover with minimal wear moments, issue 96 with some minor rubbing and creasing to its spine, right corner creases, issue 98 has chipping to its top edge and right top corner, bunched bottom right corner, the first 6 or 7 pages have a folded bottom corner,mostly good back covers for all three.

A spectacular and super big grouping of Spidey here with twenty-nine (29) total issues together, beginning with Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 118, 120, 152 (x2, doubles of this issue), 156, 164, 167, 168, 171, 178, 182, 185, 191, 192, 193, 195, 196, 197 (x2, doubles), 198, 199, 202, 203, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209 and the Exclusive Collector’s Edition One-Shot from 1980. Too many tremendous web-slinging occurrences and importances to name. Conditions: luckily most of these issues were bagged and boarded and in very nice conditions, superb sharp covers and hardly and blemishes or damages, photos of every cover and backing included.

Kingpin, The Beetle, Doc Ock and other foes from one of the greatest (if not greatest) rogues gallery in all of comics coming at Peter Parker here with six samples, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 numbers 84, 85, 89, 94 and 95, the second appearance and origin of Schemer, first Captain Fong, the origin retold and more, Spidey spectacles from 1970 to 1971. Conditions: these issues vary, some with considerable more damage than others, issue 89 is by far the most worn and damaged with some surface scuffs and stains to cover that is detatched to rest of pages, spine wear, a few bent corner tips to inner pages, issues 85 and 95 are nicest of this bunch with a few minor dings and nubbings, a few scuffs, issue 88 with some slight faded creases and to its backing perimeter light browning, a few folded bottom corner tips, issue 84 with one lone rip to top of back cover and very light print rubbing, mostly great inner pages to it, very nice cover.

The first appearance of the Legion Of Super Pets, first full General Zod, first Bizarro Lex Luthor, first Kandor and that’s just the first issue to this triple threat — DC Adventure Comics Volume 1 numbers 293 from February of 1962, number 302 from November of the same year and issue 320 from May of 1964, third Ultra-Boy, first Radiation Boy and more. Conditions: issue 293 with a nice back cover, one small chip to bottom corner tip, a few folded bottom corner tips to 3 or so inner pages but most remain good, however the bottom staple is loose to the book and cover, top is intact, a chip to bottom right corner on cover and some spine and right edge wear; a chip to back cover corner great otherwise, spine wear and creasing, chipping, minimal moments of wear mostly otherwise;

Anything Dave Stevens is dazzling dynamite and here’s five sticks of delightful from the much-missed legend, the third and fourth appearance of his creation The Rocketeer (the first and second appearances were in Starslayer) but first ever cover appearance, second comic appearance of Bettie Page, plus fellow giant Steve Ditko with equally stunning work, the second ever Ditko Missing Man — Pacific Presents Volume 1 numbers 1 and number 2, both of these have doubles (x2), and then Eclipse Comics The Rocketeer Special Edition #1 from November of 1984, Rocketeer pin-ups from Murphy Anderson, Russ Heath, Al Williamson, tons more. Conditions: all five books VF/F, beautiful copies, the pin-ups to PP are included, amazing issues practically spotless covers. Take a look!

Autographed by the creator of Deadpool, Domino, Shatterstar, Stryfe, Chapel, Supreme and this time-traveling fan-favorite, the first appearance of Cable in the Gold Metallic Variant cover autographed with Gold Marker, Marvel The New Mutants Volume 1 numbers 87 from March of 1990. Condition: VF/NM, superb sharp corners and edges, clean frontispiece and white inner pages that are concise, delightful back cover.

The first appearance of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Leia, Obi, a New Hope dawns with Marvel Star Wars Volume 1 number 1 from July of 1977 all second printings were labeled "Reprint" to the corner box of Luke’s side, unmistakable Howard Chaykin iconic cover image. Condition: VF with the only minor blemish being a faint but of nubbing to the bottom right corner tip, even the staples are clean OW/W inner concise pages, sharp back cover.

Going all the way back to Spring of 1950 for some primitive action and adventure, Fiction House Indians Volume 1 numbers 1, 2 and 9 from 1950 and 1951, Manzar The White Indian, Long Bow and Starlight. Conditions: some serious chipping to the left and bottom right corners throughout issue 1 although it fades the first half of pages are chipped which is a pity because without it, it would be a delightful copy, otherwise some slight creasing and wear to right edge and briefly around staples; issue 2 is detatched to cover with some chipping to top staple on cover and some to bottom of spine, minor dings and creases otherwise, great concise inner pages and backing; issue 9 with some more chipping briefly to bottom of spine but more so to the bottom right edge of book throughout, slight browning to frontispiece, minor spots of wear elsewhere.

"Impossible Escape" is easily one of Romita’s most recognizable and respected covers ever (which is saying a whole lot), it’s been included in more than a few of the video games, a framed poster and shirts and other merchandise, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 number 65 from October of 1968, cameo appearance by Foggy of DD lore. Condition: a faint bit of print rubbing to back cover that is white and nice otherwise, cover has a surface scuff to top center, slight vertical spine creasing, white frontispiece, off-white concise and even inner pages with no damaging.

All with certificates, these three issues were from respected and cherished collections explaining their story and history, two from the Savannah Collection and 1 from the Boland Brothers collection, the Savannah’s were acquired directly from distributor and never touched a newsstand or store, Marvel Amazing Adventures Volume 2 numbers 24, 37 and 38 (the second to last of the series), from May of 1974, July and September of 1976, Killraven’s War Of The Worlds. P. Craig Russell, Al Milgrom, Keith Pollard, Rich Buckler, Herb Trimpe, the lineup of artists on this series for the cyborg was stellar to say the least. Conditions: NM/M, VF++, as stated and labeled.

Russ Heath and Irv Novick covers to dazzle wi5 the visuals, DC Sea Devils Volume 1 numbers 7 and 11 from October of 1962 and June of 1963, the early aquatic crew battling the Human Tidal Wave and The Sea Of Nightmares. Conditions: handle with care for issue 7, the cover is attached from only 1 or 2 strands near top staple, two holes punched to frontispiece and backing with some browning and slight foxing to bottom, some browning to inner pages, small chip to bottom of spine and brief browning to perimeter on cover; issue 11 with a nicer inner pages and frontispiece, backing, slight print rubbing to backing, similar situation with the cover attached via only a strand near the top staple, over with some creasing to spine and corners.

Containing staggering and stunning artwork from BWS, Neal Adams, John Bolton, Richard Corben and so so many others plus writing from some of the greats like Chris Claremont, Marvel Magazine’s Epic Illustrated Volume 1 with 14 issues including issues 2 and 3 which feature the first ever cameo and first full appearance of Dreadstar: issues 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (x3, triples of this issue), 9 (x2), 10, (x2, doubles), 11 and issue 13, spanning Summer of 1980 to August of 1982. Conditions: issues 2 and 3 are VF/F+ with only some very minor foxing and browning to back covers, clean and shiny everywhere else, the rest of lot is similarly except issue 6 and one of the copies of issue 7 are detatched at cover with chipping to them, the other two copies and rest of the mags are marvelous thought, sharp, glossy, clean and nice.

The second appearance of the Inferior Five, first appearance of Johnny Double, amazing Dick Giordano and Murphy Anderson art and then some, DC Showcase Volume 1 number 51 from August of 1964, number 63 from August of 1966, and issue 78 from November of 1968. Conditions: a small date stamp to cover for issue 78 while the rest lf cover and book remain very nice and clean, some scattered slight wear and creasing to perimeter and spine for issue 63, slight spine wear for issue 51.

I believe this is only missing two books to complete the entire series: Constantine and A Sickness In The Family, 11 total excellent Vertigo Crime Graphic Illustrated Hardcovers with work from Brian Azzarello, Gary Phillips, Max Allan Collins and so many more, titles are The Executor, The Bronx Kill, Filthy Rich, Rat Catcher, Noche Roja, Area 10, The Chill, Cowboys, Return To Perdition, 99 Days, and Fogtown. Conditions: the first one, the Executor, is shrink wrapped and sealed, the rest are like-new with only some minor spots of dust to a cover or backing or two.

The savage series begins with "The Power Of Ka-Zar," whilst the jungle journeyer meets the Latverian monarch Dr.Doom, the first appearances of The Doomsman, Chief Tonga, Zaladane, Kagrok The Killer and more — Marvel Astonishing Tales Volume 1 numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, a huge chunk of the Ka-Zar run that started this Volume from August of 1970 to October of 1973. Conditions: most, if not all with clean, sharp and nice covers, hardly any dings dents or damages, nice spines, photos of inners and backing for issues 1, 2, 4 and 5, super faint nubbing to top of spine for issues 16 and 18, minor spine wear to some.

Eleven items total together this mighty set, Boom Studios Power Rangers Unlimited The Coinless #1 glossy foil variant alternate Cover B from June of 2023, then TPBs Mighty Morhpin Power Rangers Volume 1 and Volume 2 Green Ranger Year One and Age Of The Black Dragon, Power Rangers The Psycho Path October of 2019, Mighty Morphin Volume 1 from May of 2021, Power Rangers Unlimited Edge Of Darkness October 2021, Power Rangers Sins Of The Future October 2020, and Power Rangers Volume One and Volume Two from 2021, then Fleer Ultra MMPR The Movie 1995 card sets, one short and open with holograms, refractor cards and all, the other long card box sealed with tape, 3 sets noted in that long box. Conditions: all items clean and pristine and like-new, TPBs are glossy and smooth, card sets look complete and sharp.

Marvelous imagery from two illustration titans, Mike Grell 2003 Sketchbook Volume 1 from Comic Art Community ashcan sized mini signed to cover, then hand numbered and signed to its cover the 2012 Steve Rude Sketchbook containing many original commission and art pieces, Spider-Man, The Shadow and various others. Conditions: both superb and like-new, only the Rude Sketchbook has a brief bit of warping to its right edge and a super tiny centimeter sized crease dent to bottom of spine.

Some outstanding battle covers from legends Joe Kubet, Irv Novick, Dick Ayers, an all out blitzing brigade of 13 various titles including DC Our Army At War numbers 158 and 159, Marvel Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos number 66 May of 1969 and King-Size Special #6 from August of 1970, DC Capt.Storm numbers 7, 8 and 9 from June, August and October of 1965, DC All American Men Of War number 109 from June of 1965, Marvel War Is Hell #8, doubles, two copies of DC G.I. Conditions: a surface scuff to cover and a spine split to back cover and last few pages to Our Army #158, a faint few tiny dot stains near corner box and some very slight wear to spine on Capt. Savage, spine creasing and minor dot scuffs to cover of Men Of War, some creasing to covers of Capt.Storm’s, King-Size Special has some wear to bottom and center of spine, minor wear and spine moments to Our Army’s.

Some marvelous and magical Pat Boyette covers here, four issues to this very brief seven issue stint, Charlton Flash Gordon Volume 2 issues 13, 15, 17 and 18 (final issue of the brief series) April of 1969 to January of 1970, fellow legend Michael W.Kaluta helps with the fabulous imagery. Conditions: sensational sharp and superb copies mostly, clean vivid and bright covers with some very minor spine creasing and surface rubbing, mostly clean and concise inner pages and nice back covers with a few of them having some typical minor print rubbing or brief browning.

Beautiful stuff undoubtedly, beginning with the Incentive Brett Booth Sketch Variant Cover Black and White Image Spawn Universe One-Shot June of 2021, then King-Spawn number 1 Cover H Incentive Greg Capullo Raw Variant Cover B/W from August of 2021, two Greg Capullo autographed Spawn 1993 plaque cards signed with gold marker, Marvel X-Force number 20 1993 and Chaos Comics Lynch Mob number 3 1994 Capullo cover, both of those signed as well to cover. Condition: all items clean and pristine, no blemishes.

Beginning with the first Superman as Supernova and of course including some outstanding Neal Adams and Nick Cardy covers, a huge stack of 19 issues for DC World’s Finest Comics Volume 1 issues 178, 182, 194, 208, 211, 212, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220, 221, 222, then the hundred page triple-size issues begin with number 223, 224, 229, 244, 251 and finally issue 253, September of 1968 to November of 1978. Conditions: most if not all issues VF/Fine+, clean covers and spines, concise inner pages and awesome copies looking to be hardly ever touched or opened.

Autographed by artist and inker Doug Hazlewood with silver marker all four of these DC issues are, Superboy Volume 3 issues 1 and 0 from February and October of 1994, the first appearances of Sidearm, Knockout and a brief cameo appearance of King Shark, then The Adventures Of Superman Volume 1 numbers 497 and 500 from December of 1992 and June of 1993 the white collector’s edition without bagging, amidst the Doomsday/Death Of Supes saga, first Eradicator, Steel III and more. Conditions: all four books clean and fabulous, like new and superb.

Pat Williams pencils and inks behind this epic with Agent 77 of the British Royal Service, Gold Key John Steed, Emma Peel One-Shot from November of 1968, "The Lid’s Off A Spy Game A La Mod." Then, Titan Books The Avengers Companion softcover first edition 1997 with over 100 color photographs and exclusive interviews. Conditions: comic dangerously close to a VF, three minor blemishes to mention, a tiny green ink dot near title (that could be machine made from printing press), one very very faint crease dent to back cover and one crease dent to its bottom left corner tip (both difficult to see), a super brief bit of foxing to frontispiece and intro page, concise clean even OW pages otherwise, sharp cover with a few very faint and tiny creases. Companion a superb and like-new book.

Rob Liefeld with his heroine Angel off-shoot, Wizard and Maximum Press Avengelyne 1/2 1995, Chromium Avengelyne / Glory One-Shot and Glory / Avengelyne Chromium Variant B Cover, Maximum Press’ Avengelyne Volume 1 number 1 and 2 with 3 copies (x3) of issue 1 and 5 (x5) copies of issue 2, then issue 3, from Volume 2 issues 2 and 5 from 1996. Every copy autographed to cover by Liefeld with either gold, bald or silver marker. Conditions: all clean, glossy, gorgeous and shiny, no blemishes or damages, outstanding copies.

Widely considered one of the greatest science fiction artists to ever do it, from the pages of Heavy Metal magazine, album covers and more, surreal and stunning stuff from Jean Giraud aka Moebius showcased here with six stunning and sensational digest-sized One-Shot issues — Dark Horse Moebius Arzach (x2, doubles of this) February of 1996, Moebius H.P.’s Rock City, The Man From Ciguri, Exotics, and Madwoman Of The Sacred Heart his collaboration with Holy Mountain and Santa Sangre cult film director Jodorowsky. Conditions: all six like-new, clean and sharp, possible faint warping to a corner tip or extremely brief spot of wear, all six glossy and smooth.

Mar-Vell-Ous any way you blast at it, 27 issues of Captain Marvel Volume 1: 15, 16, 23, 32, 34, 41,45, 46 (x2), 47 through the end of the series issue 62 with doubles (x2) of issue 50 and 58 — 16 issues of Ms.Marvel Volume 1: issues 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 (x2, doubles), 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19 (x2, doubles), 21, and 22 — And Marvel Captain Marvel The Complete Collection by Jim Starlin first printing 2016. This includes the first full appearance of Dr.Minerva, first new Super-Sentry, first Agent Colt, the origins of Megaton, Drax The Destroyer and Moondragon, the first ever Nitro, second Raven Darkholme (Mystique), and much more. Conditions: mostly crisp, clean, sharp VF copies a few are slightly lesser so with minor spine wear and a nubbing or minimal surface scuff, a few backings with some brief print rubbing, concise even inner pages mostly. Gianfranco Manfredi, Bruno Ramella and Giuseppe Barbati’s creation Epicenter Comics Magic Wind Volumes 1, 2 (x2), 3 (x2), 4 and 5, all first printings from 2013, 2014 and 2015. Conditions: all seven trades like-new, smooth and glossy, excellent and sharp, delightful copies, the faintest bit of wear to the side of top tip of spine for one of the Volume 2’s.

Harry Potter fans rejoice, here comes a treasure trove, a huge amount of Hufflepuff and Hogwarts if you will, all 7 Volumes to the series in hardcover format and First Editions too — Scholastic Press and Arthur A.Levine J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone (2 versions of this hardcover), Chamber Of Secrets, The Prisoner Of Azhkaban, Goblet Of Fire, Order Of The Phoenix, The Half Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows. Half-Blood Prince is the rare first printing first edition error version with typo on Page 99 and ends on Page 652, but all are first printings (shown in photos). Conditions: some wear and staining to the inner of Dust Jacket for the smaller copy of Sorcerer’s Stone, a pen marking to the top of intro page for Order Of Phoenix, a dime sized stain to the first 3 intro pages to Deathly, minor dust jacket wear moments otherwise, all complete and clean elsewhere.

The deadliest (and most slithering) man alive but with doubles of his first appearance, Ernie Chan, Jack Kirby, Terry Austin, Gerry Conway and others for DC Kobra Volume 1 numbers 1 (x2) through final issue 7, March of 1976 to April of 1977. Conditions: all issues VF, especially both copies of number 1, minimal slight creases to spine for issue 7, concise sharp inner pages and white backings.

The greatest to ever do it, The King Kirby with three of his series — DC Forever People Volume 1 issues 2, 5, 10, and 11 May of 1971 to November of 1972 issue 11 the finale of the series, then Pacific Comics Silver Star with doubles of issue 1 (x2), 2 (x2), 3 (x2), 4, 5 and 6 to complete that miniseries February of 1983 to January of 1984, finally Pacific Comics Silver Star Captain Victory Volume 1 numbers 1 through 10 but missing issue 6 (no issue 6 included), but with doubles of issue except issue 1, November of 1981 to April of 1983. First Mantis, first Lunar, first Devilance The Persuer, first Captain Victory, much more. 30 issues together in total. Conditions: besides a few issues with some slight and minor spine creasing, this lot remains mostly lovely copies with clean covers and white frontispieces, concise sharp inners, take a look at all the photos, many included.

Writer and artist Charles "Chuck" Dixon hand numbered and autographed the intro page and frontispiece to two of these with pencil (photo’d, of course), 4Winds Publishing’s Attu Book One and Book Two by Sam Glanzman 1989, 4Winds Moving Fortress 1988, Subterra 1989, and Alvar Mayor: Death and Silver 1989, most if not all first printings, signed copies numbered 104 and 109 of a very very low 150. Conditions: clean and sensational copies with even white sharp inner pages, a possibly faint warping to a corner tip or two, no major damages or blemishes, Subterra and Attu are the signed pieces.

Aqualad, Robin, Kid Flash and Wonder Girl at it again, DC Teen Titans Volume 1 issues 12, 17, 26, 29, 30, 35 and 39, gotta love those Nick Cardy covers, a Teen Titan Team span of December of 1967 to June of 1972. Conditions: most of thee are Fine+ and a few (such as issue 26) are VF territory, clean superb covers, sharp OW/W inner pages, nice backings mostly, a few faint corner creases and super tiny brief corner nubbings.

A bountiful bunch of autographed awesomeness from the creator of Deadpool and Cable, 11 comic One-Shots signed by him, 2 Wizard Magazines signed by him with his cover art, and some Wizard standouts — Image Team Youngblood #1, two copies of WildCats #3, Phantom Force #1, Bloodstrike #10 finale issue, Black Flag (this issue is also signed by Dan Fraga) #0, Chapel #1, Deathmate Silver, Inside Image #5, IDW Transformers V G.I. Joe #2, Crypt #1, Wizard Magazine #37 and 57 from 1994 and 1996, all those items autographed by Liefeld, then the SDCC Wizard Collector’s Edition with Andy Kubert cover, Wizard #500 Witchblade, Wizard Silver Surfer 1/2 and Wizard Gen13 1/2, those last four items with certificates to backings. Conditions: all items VF/NM, superb and like-new, hardly touched or ever taken out.

Seven sensational and scare-filled graphic mags here, Skywald Publishing’s Psycho Volume 1 issues 11, 19, 21 and the 1975 Winter Yearbook Special, Nightmare number 11 from February of 1973, Warren Publishing’s Pantha premiere from October of 1980, The Tomb Of Dracula Volume 1 number 3 from February of 1980. Worth the price of fright admission alone for the Gene Colan/Frank Miller segment in the Tomb, some spectacular moments in these horror rags. Conditions: a few very brief and faint nubbings, a few surface rubbings, hardly any creases througout this lot however, clean frontispieces and inner pages + backings.

A magnificent death-defying display of DD Matt Murdock magnitude, a total of 49 issues to span the man without fear’s series — Marvel Daredevil Volume 1 issues: 44, 73, 91, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100, 102, 104, 110, 123, 133 through issue 140, issue 142, 143, 145, 147 through 157, 169, 171, 177, 180, 184, 188 through 191, 200, 242, Daredevil Special #3 from January of 197 , and finally Daredevil Annual #9 from 1993. A whole bunch of important DD occurrences here, first Mr.Fear, first Angar The Screamer, first Jackhammer, second Elektra, early Stick, iconic Bullseye issues and more. Conditions: most issues range from a Fine+ to VF however, about 8 or so issues have some definite wear, photos of covers, frontispieces and backings for those worn issues included, blemishes such as stains, scuffs, creasing etc.

The master of dark cryptic arts Jericho Drumm meets the Thing That Walks Like A Man, Marvel Strange Tales Volume 1 issues 170 (the second appearance of Brother Voodoo), 172, 173 (first Black Talon), then issue 174 to 177, so many minor first and second appearances here also, October of 1973 to December 1974. Conditions: beautiful sharp and superb copies, VF/F easy, take a look!

Showcasing the Viking Prince, the 3 Musketeers, Green Lantern, Captain Comet and more, a big chunk of the end of the this series, DC Special Volume 1 numbers 12, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, 24 (x2), 25, 27 (x3), 28 (x2), and the finale of the series issue 29 the Origin of the JSA/Hitler epic, June of 1971 to September of 1977, and then DC Super-Stars number 2 with Adam Strange, Hawkman and the Atomic Knights from April of 1976. Conditions: issue 29 sticker labeled a VF while most copies range around this condition, a few of the doubles have a copy with lesser vibrant coloring on cover, some faint print rubbing to Super-Stars, a very tiny brief crease or tiny surface ding here or there.

Selina Kyle is a sensational grouping, a sealed copy of Catwoman When In Rome hardcover by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale (legendary team behind so many DC highlights such as Dark Victory, Long Halloween), Catwoman Selina’s Big Score hardcover by fellow great Darwyn Cooke, then two TPBs Catwoman Crooked Little Town and Catwoman Under Pressure from 2003 and 2014, then Catwoman Volume 4 issues 0, 7 all the way through issue 30, November of 2011 to June of 2014. Conditions: comics are VF/NM, hardly ever if at all open or touched, TPBs and hardcovers clean and near pristine as well.

8 total DC titles here, four Kubert covers for Our Fighting Forces showcasing the The Losers sagas with Capt.Storm, Johnny Cloud, Gunner & Sarge, Volume 1 issues 136, 150, 160, and 164, then The Brave And The Bold Volume 1 number 80 and 88 with Bats and The Creeper and Wildcat team-up’s, finally Detective Comics Volume 1 numbers 401 and 406 with wonderful Neal Adams covers, most issues from the early to mid 1970’s, the second DC issue the second ever League Of Assassins and first ever Dr.Darkk. Magazine issues 1 (x2), 2 (x2), 3 and 4 from June of September of 1991 with Bisley, Paul Chadwick and other artist giant covers. Conditions: some faint wear to the top and left edges on cover for magazines, very minimal, excellent everywhere else and like-new.

Spidey and company in a gigantic grouping, Marvel Team-Up Volume 1 issues 7, 8, 13, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 29, 30 (x2), 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 54, 55, 56, 59, 60, 62, 64, 67, 68, 70, 75, 76, 79, 80, 84, 85, 86, 87 and issue 89, spanning March of 1973 to January 1980, then Marvel Team-Up Master Of The Ring TPB first printing 2005. Conditions: about four or five of the earlier issues have some slight to medium ink staining to spine and top edge (photos included of every issue with visuals hints of wear), most copies after are glossy and pretty with very nice covers and inner pages, a very tiny and faint stamping to the corner box of issue 31, a few books with some minor spine creasing.

All five fabulous hardcover bagged, Gemstone Publishing Official Overstreet Comic Book Price Guides numbers 34th, 35th, 2 variant 36th and 37th Editions, from March of 2004 to May of 2007, original art, interviews, ads, and information from all of Comic-Dom. Conditions: all five hardcovers fabulous and like-new with no blemishes.

Gold, Iron, Mercury, Platinum, Tin and Lead in abundance, DC Metal Men Volume 1 issues 18, 35, 47, 48, 49 (x4, four copies), 50 (x3), 51 (x4), 52 (x3), 53 (x2), 54 (x2), 55 and 56 (x2), a total of 26 issues together, February of 1966 to March of 1978, issue 56 the finale of the series. Conditions: issue 18 with some spine creasing and slight perimeter scuffing, a Scarface scuff to the bottom right corner of issue 35 which is a pity because it’s basically the only blemish for that book very nice otherwise, the remainder copies are clean spines, clean covers, sharp corners and edges, outstanding inner pages and backings mostly.

A true treasure trove of Peter Parker punches here and they don’t quit coming, a total of 42 issues of Marvel Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man Volume 1 issues 3 through issue 20, 26, 29 through 46, 48, 49, 50, and issue 53, February of 1977 to April of 1981, first Lightmaster, first Darter, too much more to name. Then Ultimate Spider-Man Volume 7 Irresponsible and Spider-Man Son Of The Goblin TPBs both first printings from 2003 and 2004. Conditions: this is a truly tremendous lot condition (well of course volume wise as well) wise, VF/F copies, crazy clean and sharp covers and spines, photos of frontispiece and backings for the beginning issues, a grouping that looks hardly if ever touched or taken out of bagging.

Steve Rogers striking with the red, white and blue true, 9 terrific and fairly early into the series issues for Marvel Captain America Volume 1 issues 121, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129 and 130, a Cap span of January to October of 1970, first Batroc’s Briagde, first Man-Brute, first Aces Wilde, Scarbro, Suprema, Satan’s Angels, Diamond Head and more from Colan, Sinnott, Simek and Lee. Conditions: some light spine creases to issue 125, a very faint crease scuff to top edge near corner box for issue 130, minor scuff and wear spots otherwise, very vivid and pretty coloring and mostly nice copies.

First appearance of the Living Statues and death of Mei Ling but just some awesome and amazing Johnny Craig / George Tuska covers together, Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 issues 10 and 11 from February and March of 1969, Ol’ Shell Head against the treacherous ringed Mandarin. Conditions: concise OW/W inner pages for both, issue 11 has a super tiny wear spot to frontispiece that is clean otherwise, very brief print rubbing and browning to backing, back for issue 10 has a few faded stains, that issue a brief crease vertically down right side of cover, nice colors on cover, nice spines mostly.

Almost a complete miniseries run just missing issues 4 and 7 to complete it, DC Secret Origins Volume 2 numbers 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 from March of 1973 to January of 1974, origins of almost every DC dynamo told from Wonder Woman to Blackhawk to LoSH and more with delightful Nick Cardy covers. Conditions: issues 1, 2 and 6 dangerously close to VF, only a super tiny nubbing or minor surface rubbing, issue 1 with a tiny chip to bottom corner tip, issues 3 and 5 with some spine wear, issue 3 has a loose staple but intact with other staple and issue 5 with a marker marking to Comics Code stamp plus a cutout to an ad page toward the back (pictured), mostly concise and even inner pages and sharp backings.

Beautiful Logan displays drawn by BWS, John Buscema, JRJR, Cockrum and many many more with Claremont at the mastermind, Marvel Comics Presents Volume 1 issues 1, 3 (x2), 42, 44, 47, 50, 57,:59, 60, 61, 72, 73 and 74, from September of 1988 to April 1991, first Weapon X program, first Princess Bar, First Lady Of The Northern Skies, first Bobo The Clown and more. Conditions: mostly VF/F+ copies, superb and sharp, sensational covers and edges, hardly any creases to covers, only issue 1 has some faded staining to its frontispiece that faintly leaks the right edge on cover.

Brilliant. Only my fourth time ever holding this Landmark and only the second time we’ve ever had it for auction, Tony Stark begins here with his iconic first solo series, Robert Downey Junior would be proud of this one — Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 issue 1 from May of 1968, "Alone Against AIM" and “The Origin Of Iron Man” with that iconic Gene Colan / Mike Esposito cover, also the first appearance of Mordius but that certainly pales in comparison. Condition: these inner pages are crazy nice, concise, OW, even with basically no damage to their edges or corners and truly beautiful colors on pages with no fade whatsoever, back cover has one very very tiny chip to spine but is super clean otherwise, the cover has a very tiny pen marking to N on title, and some faded brief creasing to spine and perimeter. Pictures of every single page included of course. What a delight.

Cowabunga… How about this, amidst the height of the Last Ronin fame and attention, a graded Mint (9.8) slab of IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Last Ronin number 1 third printing with the variant Kevin Eastman sketch cover from January of 2021. On a side note, the story of creators Eastman and Laird is super interesting and intriguing. Condition: slab is clean, graded 9.8, Mint.

Two Gil Kane covers in one emerald Crusader grab, DC Green Lantern Volume 2 issues 48 and 70 from October of 1966 and July of 1969, first Goldface and Hilar up against Hal Jordan. Conditions: creasing to spine slightly but right edge more so for cover on #48, white frontispiece, brief print rubbing and waving to its backing, nice concise inner pages except the first two or three pages have a tiny nubbing to bottom corner tip; issue 70 some wear to spine and creasing to perimeter on cover and one faded down center, some light staining to top, minor print rubbing and wear to back cover, mostly concise and nice inner pages, good coloring.

"The Day Of The Demolisher" the first appear of the cybernetic baddie The Demolisher, first ever Drexel and Janice Cord, plus just an ultra cool cover from legend Johnny Craig, Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 number 2 from June of 1968. Condition: some faded stain and surface scuff to the top left corner tip on corner box, minor creasing to spine and bottom, a distributor date stamping to top (I personally find them kind of neat, a literal time stamp), even and concise sharp inner pages, very mild browning to back cover and that same faded stain to backing corner that appears also on frontispiece that is clean otherwise.

Dakota Fanning wishes. Meet Madame Web, here in her first ever appearance, Marvel Amazing Spider-Man Volume 1 issue 210 from November of 1980, with that wonderful Romita/Milgrom cover. Condition: graded 7.5, VF-.

The green and beastly Avenger/Defender takes spotlight here with a staggering and tremendous grouping! 78 total items, truly tremendous! The 2 TPBs are Marvel Visionaries The Incredible Hulk by Peter David Volume 3 first printing 2006 and Incredible Hulk Tempest Fugit first printing 2005 with Lee Weeks cover. The price tags are obviously arbitrary as the bulk of these were purchased in the early 1980’s. Conditions: from a hardly touched box, clean and superb covers mostly, many VF copies, mostly Fine+ if not better, some with a few typical spots of wear or spine creasings, faint nubbings, a few with expected print rubbing to backings, but the majority very nice copies, pictures of frontispiece and backings for the first few issues of both series to showcase conditions.

Three terrific trade paperbacks: Alan Moore’s iconic and legendary DC Watchmen 1987, the sequel to the critically acclaimed and film adapted 30 Days Of Night, IDW Dark Days from Templesmith and Niles 2004, and Marvel Hearts Of Darkness 1991 by JRJR. Conditions: all three clean and like-new, faint warping to bottom corner back cover tip of Hearts.

Beautiful stuff undoubtedly, Art Bot Production’s Brandon Peterson Sketchbooks Illuminations 2009 and 2011, hand numbered 925 and 816 out of only 1000, stunning imagery from the artist. Conditions: both clean and pristine, like-new and hardly touched.

Vivid stuff, Curtis Masters Of Terror Volume 1 issue number 2 from September of 1975 with the based on Steranko cover image plus a bunch of other haunts within, then Marvel Curtis Preview magazines Volume 1 numbers 9, 13, 16, 17, 19, 22, 23 and then the title switch to Bizarre Adventures 25, 27, 28, 32, and 33. Conditions: the majority are Fine+ if not some better, the Masters with clean concise inner pages and backings, very minor spine wear and faint waving, slight nubbing and wear to top left corner of Marvel Preview 13, a big dent ding to top left corner of issue 32 with some slight spine creasings, much lesser so for issue 33, minimal spots of wear or surface rubs otherwise.

"My Friend, My Foe…The Freak!" More sensational stuff from Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 number 3 from July of 1968, Johnny Craig and Archie Goodwin with the first appearance of Secretary Greer with Stark against Happy Hogan The Freak. Condition: a brief slight crease diagonally through title with some wear and creasing to spine, very brief chipping to bottom edge and one to center of spine, top staple loose to intro page, foxing and browning to frontispiece, intro page has an inking to right center edge which is from a factory miscut, even sharp inner pages except the final page is missing, back cover browning and foxing to perimeter with a spot or two of wear.

Jim Starlin’s The Death Of Captain Marvel, Marvel Graphic Novel 1982 8th printing with wraparound Starlin cover, then four copies of DC Superman ‘78 number 3 Lee Weeks Exclusives January of 2022 all autographed with gold sharpie by Weeks to top right corner. Conditions: all the four Weeks are wonderful and pristine with next to no blemishes, the Marvel Graphic has a tiny creasing to bottom right corner tip on cover, and a few tiny and very very faint surface dings to back cover, excellent everywhere else.

The King takes showcase, TwoMorrows’ Jack Kirby Collector Volume 3 first printing 1999 and The New Jack Kirby Collector issue number 32 from July 2001 first printing, then two beautiful hardcovers Marvel Boys Ranch and Fighting American first printing 1992 and 1989. Conditions: super faint warping to spine on the huge Collector #32, everywhere else excellent and sharp, like-new.

Vintage excellence from Gold Key, Tarzan Of The Apes number 155 (the Origin issue), 162, 170, 174 and 185 George Miller and Russ Manning Art from December of 1965 to July of 1969, then Captain Venture #1 from 1968, Turok Son Of Stone #44 1965, and The Wild Wild West #6 from July of 1969. Conditions: the Turok is undoubtedly a VF, white inners, OW backing that is sharp, clean beautiful cover, slight spine creasing to Captain and WWWest, all five Tarzan’s remain fabulous no issue dipping below a Fine- at all, hardly any creasing to covers, possible slight rubbing spot or two and brief corner nubbing, awesome copies.

"The Coming Of Whiplash" and "And So It Begins,?? terrific and tremendous, Mickey Rourke take notice, Marvel Tales Of Suspense Volume 1 issue 97 from January of 1968, first ever Whiplash, also first appearance of Big M (Madame Masque) and Irma Kruhl via Colan, Kirby and Lee. Condition: beautiful vibrant colors on cover, even the staples are clean, hardly any creases on spine, a tiny tiny surface scuff to corner box and the N in title, very slight browning to frontispiece and backing, perfect edges and corners throughout the concise inner pages that have no damage, take a gander at this gem.

The World’s Strangest Heroes with a fourteen (14) issue spectacle, DC The Doom Patrol Volume 1 issues 105, 109, 110 (x3, triples of this issue), and 115 (x2) Bob Brown, Arnold Drake, Bruno Premiani, Sheldon Moldoff and other greats from 1966-67, then DC Showcase Volume 1 issues 94, 95 (x2), and 96 (x4, four copies of this one) the first appearances of Negative Woman, Celsius and Tempest, gorgeous Jim Aparo cover work from 1977 and 1978. Conditions: the Showcases all remain fantastic with hardly any damages or blemishes beside a possible faint nub to a tip or two, brief print rubbing moment, lively colors and sharp edges, the DP’s have more wear, issue 109 with a deep spine split and backing detatched, spine creasings and browning moments, mostly good inner pages that are even with little damage to them, back covers with some print rubbing spots, minor wear.

A whole bunch of mutie madness here, fifteen (15) total trade paperbacks together, Marvel Comics Presents Wolverine second printing 1989 Miller/Claremont, Wolverine first printing 2005, Wolverine The Origin first printing 2002, X-men The Asgardian Wars first printing 1989, Uncanny X-men From The Ashes first printing 1989, X-men Visionaires Neal Adams Collection first printing 1996, Ultimate X-men Collection Volume 1 first P 2006 via Mark Millar, X-men Old Soldiers first P 2004, X-men Vignettes first P 2005, Ultimate X-men Block Buster first P 2004, Xtreme X-men Intifada and Storm - The Arena Volumes 6 and 7 both first P 2004, and finally X-men The Movie Prequel Magneto, Rogue and Wolverine from 2000. Conditions: all clean and like-new except slight browning to backing of Asgardian, and minor warping to corner tips on cover for Vignettes.

Award winning artist writer team Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips for two terrific hardcovers - Image’s Night Fever and Pulp both first printings from 2023 and 2020, both of them autographed a separate place card (pictured), then a sealed and shrink wrapped DC Global Frequency The Deluxe Edition hardcover via Warren Ellis 2018 with over 300 pages. Difficult to tell from picture, but both signed placards are also stickers. Conditions: all clean and pristine, a perforation to the plastic on cover for Global.

‘Twas an epic moment in comics for sure, here’s three VF/NM graded slabs of DC Superman Volume 2 #75 1993, Superman #100 Death Of Clark Kent 1995, then Death Of Superman TPB 1993. Conditions: 8.5, 9.2 and 9.0, all with white pages.

It’s Clobberin’ Time (and then some), Ben Grimm showcased mostly here, Marvel The Thing Volume 1 issues 1 (Origin retold), 2, 3 (x2), and issue 19 with Mummy cover 1983 to 1985, Marvel Two-In-One Volume 1 number 4 Thing and Cap together Gil Kane/Sinnott cove July of 1974, then The Thing Project Pegasus first printing 2018, them because why not, Marvel Adventures Featuring Daredevil number 1 December of 1975 and Human Fly number 1 September of 1977. Conditions: a brief bit of nubbing to top and bottom right corners of Adventures, slight spine creasing for Two-In-One, the rest of the areas remain shape and clean mostly with only very minor spot of wear or two.

"Unconquered Is The Unicorn" but double it, Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 issue 4 from August of 1968, doubled with two copies, Pepper Potts and Stark amidst Milos The Unicorn with his rapid blasts. Conditions: the second copy has more considerably more wear than the first which remains quite nice, slight browning to frontispiece and backing, one chip to top of back cover; the other copy wi5 to creasing wear to cover and back cover, the entire book has a nubbing to bottom right corner tip.

Containing never before seen photos and excerpts of Mick Jagger, Marilyn Monroe and more, intruiguing adult cartoon imagery and story, Fantagraphics Books The Adventures of Jodelle by Guy Peellaert and Pierre Bartier First edition 2013 huge hardcover, pop art masterpiece. Condition: like new, except one tiny spot of wear to the bottom near spine and two very small chips to dust jacket near top left corner.

The first and second ever Controller, first Night Phantom, first Crimson Dynamo and more Tony Stark spectacle, Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 issues 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, Stark Industries time stamp April to August of 1969, with the incredible team of Johnny Craig, George Tuska and Goodwin. Conditions: some slight spine and perimeter wear to issue 13 with , issue 12 remains delightful in shape, some faded staining and print rubbing on cover for issue 14’s cover , spine and perimeter creasing to issue 16, two tiny chips to backing of that issue, some print rubbing to backings, mostly very clean frontispieces, a very faint and hard to see crease down center on cover for issue 14, slight print rubbing moments, mostly concise and even sharp inner pages.

Conditions: all like-new and superb, except the tiniest hint of warping to the bottom corner of The Reader and top right corner of Sketchbook.

Danny Adams striking back, Marvel Preimere number 23 (x2, doubles) from and then Iron Fist Volume 1 issues 6, 7 (x2), 9 (x2), 10, 11 and issue 13, August of 1976 to June of 1977, the first J. Hogarth, first Warhawk, Origin of Misty Knight, first Nightwing Restorations Inc and more, then Marvel Premiere Edition The Immortal Iron Fist The Book Of Iron Fist hardcover 2008 with over 150 pages, still sealed and shrink wrapped. Ballantine Books Indiana Jones Raiders Of The Lost Ark Illustrated Screenplay 1981 and Dark Horse Indiana Jones Omnibus Volume 2 first edition June 2008, Abrams Walking Dead Chronicles first edition 2011, a sealed UK Xbox 360 magazine issue number 75 Batman Arkham City with book and DVD included inside, two sealed copies of Hero Illustrated from February of 1994 with cards inside, and a sealed copy with card of Marvel XForce number 1 and also issue 4 from 1991. Conditions: some slight wear to Indiana Screenplay to top and bottom of spine, one tiny chip and scuff to right corner area, and a few faded stains to back cover, everything else excellent.

A sensational and stbgaring arrangement of Nick Fury here, awesome action and bullets a’blazin’ with Marvel Sgt.Fury And His Howling Commandos Volume 1 issues 12, 18, 19, 21 (x2), 23 (x2), 24, 27 (the eye patch Origin epic), 28, 30, 31, 36, 36 (x2), 37 (x2), 38, 40, 41, 47, 51, 56, 58, 59, 66, 67, 71, 77, 80, 81, 86 (x2), 87, 97, 98, 149, and 154, plus two copies of the King-Size Special Sgt. Fury #4 from August of 1968 with Dick Ayers/John Severin cover, November of 1964 all the way to October of 1979. 40 issues and 43 items total with the PS Artbooks Military Comics Volumes 1 and 5 and Space War Volume 1 from 2023, over 150 pages to each and each a direct scan of the original comics and beautiful at that. Conditions: the PS Artbooks like new and pristine, the comics vary while most are VG+/Fine+, a few better, a few worse, numerous photos of issues 12, 18, 19, 21 and 23, one of the copies of issue 21 has some spine creasing and slight chipping to top edge, some typical wear spots and print rubbing to a few backings, all issues concise with inner pages and intact, quite a few of these are actually very nice books.

You wouldn’t be out of bounds considering this rare, especially in this condition but more on that later, Fantagraphics Big Book Of Jokes II Acme Novelty Library 15 from 2001 Chris Ware, 32 very large pages and centerfold is a three dimensional picture viewer cut-out (pictured), this won the Eisner Award for design and looking through it you can easily see why. Measures exactly 18 x 10 3/4ths inches. Condition: the smooth feel of these pages and cover, incredible edges and corners, not even a single crease, ding, spot of damage, a truly excellent copy. I was very delicate and careful with taking photos as this feels hardly if ever opened.

One of the top fifty controversial comics ever created and now iconic and famous for it, "Demon In A Bottle" is Marvel Iron Man Volume 1 issue 128 from November of 1979, the Tony Stark Alcohol epic, a few lesser first appearances and the final issue at the time for John Romita JR. Condition: beautiful colors and cover condition, excellent edges, the very faintest nubbing to very corner tips, a few very very faint spine creases, concise and delightful inner pages, sharp white clean back cover, a few very minimal dents to bottom edge. A wonderful copy, taut poly p bagging with three boards.

The Asgardian Avenger here with Marvel Journey Into Mystery Volume 1 issue 114 from March of 1965 the first appearance and Origin of Absorbing Man and Fenris Wolf with that classic Kirby / Chic Stone cover, then Thor numbers 133, 134, 155, and 441, Marvel Spectacular (Starring Thor) number 10 from October of 1974, finally two TPBs consisting of Marvel Epic Collection Thor A Kingdom Lost and Thor the Eternals Saga both first printings from 2014 and 2007. Conditions: issues 133 and 134 detatched at cover, some slight wear to perimeter edges of 155, a few chips, stains and wear to 114, 133 with some spine creasing, numerous photos of books included.

Adventures, Mysteries, Dinosaurs and War, Charlton Space Adventures, Gunmaster #84 1965, Reptisaurus #3 1962, Strange Mysteries #12, Strange Planets #12, and DC House Of Mystery #176 1968. Conditions: Space Adventures is detatched at cover, some typical wear and damages for 1960s books, see photos, staining,creasing, a few tears and dents, Reptisaurus is nice though, clean cover and colors.
