Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 6:00 PM. Grundy County Historical Society - 29th Annual Festival of Trees. Members of the community, including businesses, along with the museum volunteers, decorate a variety of Christmas trees, centerpieces, and wreaths. Bidders will find every size and style imaginable, from whimsical and traditional to woodsy, elegant, and more. Some of the trees are traditional and others quite unusual. WHAT TYPE OF AUCTION: This is a Timed, Online-Only Auction in Morris, IL to help fund the operations of the Grundy County Historical Society and Museum. Bidding is now open. WHAT TYPE OF ITEMS: Members of the community, including businesses along with museum volunteers, have decorated a variety of Christmas trees, centerpieces, wreaths and more. Raffle Items and Tickets are also available at the museum. CAN I PREVIEW: The museum is open Thu-Fri-Sat from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It will be open late Friday, November 29th until 7:00 PM for last-minute viewing. Contact the museum for more information: 815-942-4880. CAN I ENTER A MAX BID: You may enter your high bid, or maximum bid, and the system will bid for you at the next increment against another bidder. WHEN DOES IT END: The first lot will start CLOSING: Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 6:00 PM CT. (Lots will close every 30 seconds. If a bid is placed during the last minute, that lot will be extended 1 minute.) WHERE & WHEN DO I PICK-UP MY ITEMS: Removal Day is Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 510 W. Illinois Ave, Morris, IL 60450. This is a ONE-DAY pick-up schedule. Delivery is also available in the Grundy County Area for an additional $30. Call before bidding to confirm delivery requests. HOW DO I PAY: Credit cards will be charged after the auction closes and an invoice will be emailed as proof of payment when you pick up your item(s). A 10% Buyer's Premium will be added to the final invoice to cover all website and credit card fees. Additional donations are always welcomed by the Museum at time of pick-up.
