Lead Antique 12 Metal Tins – Hardware And Related Items
Description
Antique 12 metal tins that are mostly hardware store related items. A great mixture of tins that would have been found at your local hardware store. Great detail was put in these tins to their shape style and color to advertise the company and provide details to the product inside. The related group is in used condition and are as follows: - Dorman Star Washer Co, Cincinnati, Ohio is printed on the lid of this orange and black tin. Per the front and back of the tin is shows a picture and description of ‘Spring Center Bolts, Garage Assortment No. 3’. One both sides is the same description but no picture of the bolt. The lid is hinged and lifts up and closes easy. Tin has wear and is dented on the lid but the patina seems to add to the appeal. The tin is empty. Measures 1.5” tall, 7” wide and 4.5” deep. - American Handy Nails is printed on the top of this navy blue and silver round tin with pictures of nails on the top and sides of the lid. On one side of the bottom is printed American Steel & Wire Company, Chicago, New York, Boston. On the other side of the bottom is printed ‘American Handy Nails, Weight 10 Oz. Net”. A very stylist tin with some wear and corrosion. Has a lift off lid and the tin is empty. - Campbell Cotter Pins is printed on the top along with ‘Auto Kit’ and ‘100 Assorted’. The tin is green black and yellow. On the front of the tin is ‘Campbell Hammer-Lock Cotter Pins’ with a cotter pin picture. Across the bottom of the tin is Manufactured By American Chain Division, American Chain & Cable Company & Cable Company, Inc., York, PA’. Back of tin has ACCO logo and Made in U.S.A.. Side of tin is in very good condition. Top of tin is a twist off lid, lid has some wear and corrosion. Tin is full of cotter pins. Measures 2” tall and 1.5” in diameter. - (2) Family Brad and Nail Assortment tins is orange and black. Tins have the company name and logo on top with pictures of various sized of nails. Name and logo also across the base of the tin with ‘Made in U.S.A. and Contents 6.5 Ozs’. Tins have a loft off lid. Bottom of tins are in very good condition and the top of the tins have more wear and some corrosion. One tin still has some smaller nails inside. Measures 1” tall and 3.5” in diameter. - Atlas Blasting Caps in gold, orange and brown tin. Lift off lid states there are 100 No. 6 Explosives Blasting Caps, from ‘Altas Powder Co. Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A.’ There is print on all sides with some of the description including ‘Dangerous Handle Carefully’ and Keep Dry, Keep Fire Away’. A very unique collectable tin that has wear but still displays well. Measures 1.5” tall, 2.5” wide and 2” deep. - (2) Moore Push Thumbtacks tins in yellow and red. Tins have the company name ‘Moore Push-Pin Co. Philadelphia, PA’ with the No. 42 – 1/16” on top. Has made in U.S.A. on side of lift off lids. On the bottom of the tins is a picture of a lady hanging a framed picture with the company name listed below. One tin has several push pins inside. Tins have aging but are in very good condition. Measures .75” tall, 1.5” wide and 1” deep. - Moore Thumbtacks tin in orange and black. Tin has a lift off lid with the ‘Moore Thumbtacks ½”, Superior Quality, Strong Points Nickeled Steel’ as well as ‘School and Office Use, Philidelphia, PA’ on the lid. Tin has some aging but overall very good condition with the picture of 2 thumbtacks on the lid. Tin is empty. Measures 3/8” tall, 2 1/8” wide and 1.25” deep. - Zenith Tibet Almond Stick, Will Efface 1,000 Scratches tin is black yellow and red. Tin has lift off lid and is in excellent condition throughout. This was for scratch repair on furniture. The contents are present and look to be unused. Measures 3.25” tall and 1.75” in diameter. - Dodge Industries No. 121 Thread Seal Tape, has an outer pop off ring to access tape. Nice black and orange colors. In overall good condition. Looks to still have some of the original tape inside. Measures 2.25" in diameter. - Goss Gas Inc. 6 Renewal Flints in black and orange. Company was out of Glenshaw, Penna. Has a slide off lid with no contents. In overall very good condition with minor wear. Measures .25” tall, 1.25” wide and 1” deep. Grading and authentication is not an exact science, and it is possible that two people do not always grade or evaluate the same item alike. Lots that are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from a third-party authenticator are not eligible for return. Absolutely no exceptions will be made regarding this policy. Given the opinionative nature of autograph authentication, autographed items which are accompanied by the Third Party Authentication(s) listed with a lot represents the opinion of the third-party professional, and no further warranties or guarantees of opinion from outside authenticators, or so-called "experts", is being implied or guaranteed in any way. LOTS MAY NOT BE RETURNED BASED UPON A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION IN GRADING OR AUTHENTICATION. It is ultimately the Bidder's responsibility to arrive at a final conclusion on their level of satisfaction of authenticity PRIOR to bidding. When you become the winning bidder at auction you have effected a contract and will be expected to pay for items in which you were evidenced to be the successful bidder. Auctioneer will not honor "mistakes". 6. Firearms: In accordance with Federal Law every gun purchase must be approved via a background check. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to be aware of his or her ability to pass a federal NICS check. It is the responsibility of the interstate purchaser to be aware of the laws of their state regarding the legality of receiving any item, and for providing us with a receiving FFL Dealer in the bidder's locale. Due to Federal Regulations we unable to sell any firearm-related merchandise outside of the United States. ****Local Buyers will pick up their firearms from Estrella Ordnance the day following payment (which is typically the Thursday after an auction). Estrella Ordnance is located at 3673 S Bullard Ave #122, Goodyear, AZ 85338. 7. The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids in any increment he feels is in the best interest of his client, the seller. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bidding of any person whose conduct, actions, or adverse comments he feels are not in the best interest of the seller. Also, if a bidder has a negative score / rating on Hibid those bidders' bids may not be accepted. 8. Buyer's Premium: 15% buyer's fee (buyer's premium) will be added to all invoices. 9. Shipping: At this time we only accept bids from the United States and Canada. All packages must be sent to the billing address. If you would like your item shipped to an address other than your billing address you will be required to overnight a Cashier's Check or pay by wire transfer for the full invoice amount. All firearms must be mailed to your local FFL dealer. Shipping Firearms: Estrella Ordnance will handle all gun shipments. We will automatically charge the card on file for the shipping and handling fees. All packages will be charged exact shipping fees as well as a handling fee and insurance. Invoices totaling $200 or more will also include signature confirmation. Invoices with firearms, ammo or related items will require an adult signature confirmation. You will receive a tracking number once your items are shipped. We will ONLY ship to the billing address on file. Our handling fee starts at $7.50 per package, larger packages or items that require more packing materials may incur a larger handling fee. Absentee bids become part of the live bidding action during the auction and are entered by a Proxy Bidder who acts on behalf of the absentee bidder. In the rare case an item has a reserve, whether it be a private or stated reserve, Pot of Gold Estate Liquidations, LLC may implement such reserve by bidding on those specific items on behalf of the seller. 13. This clause pertains to consignments. Occasionally consignors will bring items that we ultimately are unable to sell due to condition or value. When that occurs, consignors agree, as spelled out here in Clause #13 in our Terms and Conditions, to pick up items within ten days of notification (usually via email) by Pot Of Gold Estate Liquidations, LLC, or else those items will be forfeited, to be disposed of at our discretion.
