A vintage metal Planters Peanuts Store Display Rack. Metal display measures 19 1/2"x13 1/2"x8 1/2" and is in overall nice visual condition. Rack displays some wear including scratches and scuffs to the metal display banner, especially along the corners. Please see pictures for further condition details. Item(s) may have had open exposure to legume/peanuts. Those with allergies are advised caution.

Checkout Date/Time Bidders will be invoiced beginning at 10 AM EST the Tuesday following the auction in recognition of the Labor Day holiday. Local bidders will be invoiced first and pickup is available after noon on Monday. All other invoices will be invoiced as they are packed up for shipping, which normally wraps up around Wednesday.

Description
Highlights include vintage Mr. Peanut mascot costumes dating back to the 1940s, vintage pedal cars and other toys, midcentury collectibles like banks and dinnerware, a wooden peanut vendor cart, glass peanut jars, Peanut Pals fan club publications, and more! This auction session celebrates Mr. Peanut, one of the most iconic mascots in the history of Americana! Introduced in 1916 and going strong today, Mr. Peanut has appeared on every kind of collectible imaginable - children's toys, advertising, holiday ornaments, cookware, housewares, you name it. 200 lots of those collectibles close on August 31, so get crackin'! For local bidders, lots from this auction may be picked up and invoices can be paid starting at 12pm noon on the Monday following the auction's close. For everyone else, shipping costs will be assessed and invoices will start becoming available later that day. Pick-up is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, at our shipping & receiving entrance.
All lots are sold AS-IS WHERE-IS. Auction items are open to thorough public inspection by appointment before every auction. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Back to the Past (BTTP) may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall BTTP be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. BTTP shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it.
