Lead Nathan Five Chime Locomotive Horn Model K5LA
Description
This bell was tested the day prior to drop off at Manshed much to the disappointment of the vendor'ss neighbours. Best described as "old new stock" has never been mounted on a locomotive and is perfect as new operational condition. Has been powder coated on textured "Machine Grey" colour with the manifold unpainted. This is most common type of locomotive horn in use on American locomotives today but in Australia is almost totally confined to locomotives operating on the iron ore railways in the Pilbara region. The only locomotives in the eastern states that has been fitted with this type of horn is the MZ class which are now owned but Qube. This horn was obtained new in 2006. To replace this horn of 5 bells landed in Australia would cost approx. $7,500 the vendor informs. Upstairs shelf

Payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving your invoice by email. Non-payment after 3 days or unless by arrangment, sale will be cancelled. Payment options include Direct Deposit, Credit Cards in person or over the phone (Visa Mastercard & Amex), Eftpos or Cash on Collection. A Credit Card Fee of 1% to 1.5% will be applied if paying by credit card and Eftpos fees of .65% apply as charged to Manshed by the P.O.S provider.
Pickup by arrangement the week following the auction 10am to 5pm from Unit 14, 36 Leighton Place Hornsby NSW 2077. Collections outside the days and hours strictly by arrangement.
