Lead Custom Engraved 1911 .38 Super Cal. Pistol
Description
Custom engraved 1911 .38 Super cal. pistol handbuilt construction commemorating Texas Ranger Frank Hamer and the Bonnie & Clyde ambush of 90 years ago. Hammer-forged steel frame and slide forged in Texas, using American steel and all American made parts. Features a milled front strap and steel milled mainspring housing. Engraving style replicates Hamer's original Colt 1873 SAA. All internal parts are made from CNC machined steel and are hand fit for precise operation. This classic government model 1911 comes in the same caliber Frank Hamer was carring on that fateful day he finally caught up with Bonnie and Clyde. An extended beavertail grip safety, wide spur hammer from the same year Frank carried it, combined with a recessed and chamfered slide stop, 11 degree crowned barrel, hand engraving, case colored frame with polished blued slide and select elk antler grips offer additional custom touches. This is a one of a kind pistol crafted by Master Gunsmith Bobby Tyler of Tyler Gun Works LLC of Friona, Texas, Offered with book "Texas Ranger - The Epic Life of Frank Hamer, the Man Who Killed Bonnie & Clyde" by author John Boessenecker Generously donated by Dale & Peggy Pancake Book generously donated by FTRF
