Lead Norton classic road racer
Description
Built and first raced by Ern Dal Santo in the early 1980’s. Based on a Model 99 Dominator, using the bike’s original frame, swingarm, gearbox, forks, brakes, wheel hubs, petrol tank and oil tank. The bike has been raced with both Dominator and Atlas based engines. The engine is currently fitted as an 810cc Atlas from the 2009 Australian Championship winning machine. The bike, known by Ern as “99”, was quite successful over many years. Highlights include winning the 1988 Bicentenniel Bathurst Classic race, several NSW Championships, and multiple winner of the Mike Hailwood Memorial Trophy. There are som used engine parts that will be sold with the bike. There bike has never been crashed, or in an accident.
