Lead 1972 Chevy C/10 Custom Truck
Description
1972 Chevy C 10 custom truck with a TBI 350 and a 4L 60 E transmission, .342 Posi trac 12 bolt rear end , power steering , power, brakes, cold air conditioner, tilt wheel, power windows, . This is a 72 Chevy truck Custom because the cab and front clip have been professionally grafted onto a 93 Chevy Truck Drive train and frame , with the floorboard and firewall of the 93 grafted into the cab so that it mounts 100% correct to the frame and the 93 firewall was put in the cab so that it could retain all of its original dash and engine bay components. As you can see in the pictures of the interior and under the hood, it still has all of the 93 Chevy truck components such as the original 93 dash and all the factory air conditioning , wiring, coolant tanks and everything. The 93 Chevy truck that was used as a donor truck for the build only had 80,000 miles on it when it was built, and currently has approximately 91,000 miles on it, may go up some since it is currently being driven some . This is a very nice driver quality truck. It is not perfect, but it is very nice and I wouldn’t be afraid to get in it and drive it anywhere. It rides and drives very well, but it is also very low to the ground and if driven fast over rough roads, the rear spring shackles will bottom out some under the bed and make some noise. The lowering job consist of 2 inch beltech drop spindles and 2 inch beltech drop springs in the front and beltech lowering spring hangers on the front of the leaf springs and the rear shackles were relocated, the lowering is approximately 4 inches in the front and 5 inches in the rear . The truck has a fresh mobile one full synthetic oil change with wix filter. It has a new engine air filter, and new filter housing and matching valve covers lt also has brand new spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor for a full tuneup. It has a brand new set of Monroe OE shocks on it. It has brand new tires and wheels with less than 300 miles on them, Although the wheels will need to be shined up due to sitting around some . It has new sway bar end links and bushings and fresh front end alignment . It has a new X pipe in the exhaust with Dyno Max mufflers. The paint job is pretty nice paint job, especially considering it’s probably 10 years old and it does have a few chips in it which will be pictured but overall looks and shows very nice. It does have a new pinion seal in it and has had the rear end grease changed and Posi lube additive put in. The only other engine components changed that I know of, Is the EGR valve and EGR pressure switch . All factory gauges work correctly other than the speedometer and it’s off by about 5 mph due to the shorter tires . The truck is titled as a 72 chevy C10 it has a clean Arkansas title in my name and the VIN on the title matches the VIN on the cab. Look at all pictures as they are part of the description and use them to determine your opinion of the value of the truck and bid accordingly . Truck being sold as is whereas no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.

The auction closes with what’s called a Soft close. That’s to keep everything fair like an in person auction where you have a chance to bid again. If a bid is placed within the few seconds of an item closing, that item will extend closing for another 60 seconds to allow someone else to bid. This will continue until no one bids again (just like a live auction)! Some people max bid, which means they know they will not be able to bid at the end of the auction and will put in a maximum bid amount. Example if there’s something that someone is interested in and they place a maximum of $100 bid the current bid may show $20 but they have left a maximum bid up to 100. So if you come in and bid at 100 it’s going to show you outbid due to the fact they placed their bid prior to yours. We tell bidders this so they will know that someone may have bid prior to them if there’s no surprise to you. Once you’ve done a few online auctions you’ll be an old pro at this!
