From Dept 56, a U.S. manufacturer of holiday collectibles, ornaments, and giftware, known for its lighted Dicken 's Christmas Village Collections, Snowbabies, the Holy Land, and Krinkles, this auction will be amazing. The store closed its doors, and everything will go with "NO RESERVE!" You won't find these expensive gifts at auction prices anywere. Start bidding on gifts for your bestie, grandkids, aunt, uncle, teacher, new parents, and more. Please read all description.
If you are a Dicken's Village collector, you are not just getting one village; you are getting several villages, some with people or accessories! If you are a fan of Victorian London during the time of well-known Artist, Charles Dickens, and the famous story, A Christmas Carol, you will want to purchase every one of these large, and unique houses. Many are retired. Dept. 56 created 359 buildings and 359 accessories. You won't be able to beat prices anywhere! (NOTE: Make sure to open each lot as items in titles have been abbreviated or shortened, to see which village and/or accessories you will be bidding on.) PS, in most cases you will be bidding on 2 to 3 villages and accessories in one lot! You will get your monies worth! Because there were so many items in this auction, villages, houses, etc. to photograph so they were not removed from their boxes. They are packed in stryrofoam and new.
Snowbabies represent either the holiday season or winter sports through a small figurine depicting a child. Snow babies traditionally are made from biscuit porcelain and are decorated with crushed bisque to look like snowflakes. There are many that are retired and ever so cute! Some of the boxes and figurines show the pink ribbon for the American Cancer Society, made to benefit the organization.
The Holy Land Collection created by Department 56 was introduced in 2000 which featured individual buildings reflecting a larger, more diverse city of Bethlehem like the Tower of David, The Holy Sepulcher, Nativity Set, Rug Merchant's Colonnade, The Desert Camp, The Potter's Shop and more. You will not believe the size! Retail, these are pretty expensive!
Krinkles are quirky, delicate and endearing Christmas characters that include stockings, ornaments, figures, dogs, cats, horses, tabletops, and more. Dept. 56 and Patience Brewster created Krinkles. In 2003, to honor her beloved son, Brewster began designing an annual ornament with proceeds to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Try a Christmas tree of nothing but Krinkles!!! So pretty!
For Noah fans, we have the Ark, for moose fans, we have Moosetivity, Christmas lamp posts, décor, Christmas Rocking Horses, Fall and Christmas branches/stems, and much, much more.
Again, don't miss this auction, if not for you, these all make great gifts for family, the collectors in the family, grandchildren, co-workers and friends.
Have fun!!!
PS If you are not a fan, how about making a little money for Christmas by bidding on these and selling them at your local flea market, on FB Marketplace or garage sale these items. (Note: There are more Dicken's vs. the whimsical villages, but oh so cute. More than 1500 items in this auction.
