Row 7 (All 4-digit tag numbers) is Field Bidding Only. This is a Live Auction and bidding will move quickly. There is no "Soft Close." Be aware there is often a lag in the Internet Bidding format. We know about it and are sorry you may not win an item because of it. We can't fix it. You can leave an Absentee Bid with the Auction Office prior to Auction Day. In the event of duplicate bids, the Field bid take precedence. If the bid is tied between internet bidders, the earliest bid will be recognized. In the event of a dispute between two or more bidders, the item may be put back up for resale. Order of sale and bidding increments shall be at the sole discretion of the Auctioneer. The Auctioneer reserves the right to delete or add items at its discretion. Howell & Sons, Inc., may at its sole discretion, act to protect the interest of buyers and sellers as an agent, by bidding through the Auctioneer. The Auctioneer may open bidding on any item by placing a bid as an agent for any buyer or seller. The Auctioneer may continue to bid as an agent for a buyer or seller, either by placing consecutive bids or by placing bids in response to other bidders. Howell & Sons, Inc., may, at its sole discretion, change, modify or alter bidding procedures and conduct Auctions, or cancel or postpone Auctions, at any time including after beginning an Auction. Announcements (verbal, written, online or otherwise) made on the day of the Auction shall be binding over all printed material or oral statements made. Howell & Sons, Inc., will not be responsible for technology disruptions, errors, or failures (including disruptions to bidding or the failure to execute, recognize, or record online bids), whether caused by (i) loss of connectivity, breakdown, disruption, or failure of the Online Auction Platform, (ii) breakdown, disruption, or failure of a Bidder's internet connection, computer, or system, or (iii) otherwise. Auctioneer may, but will not be required to, continue, suspend, delay, extend, reschedule, or close the Auction because of disruptions caused by technology failures, even after bidding has commenced. YOU MUST PAY AT THE AUCTION FIELD not later than Tuesday, November 12th. Cash, Check, Cashier's Check, Wire Transfer, Credit and Debit Cards. A 3% bank surcharge is added to All Credit Card Sales. A Photo ID is required for Credit Card Transactions and the Card Must Be Presented and Match ID. All Items must be removed from the Auction Field by Wednesday, November 13, 2024, unless prior arrangements have been made with the auctioneer. A 10% Buyer's Premium will be charged (per lot) on Lots selling up to $499.00; 5% will be charged on Lots selling up to $2,499.99; 0% above $2,500.
