Auction Terms & Conditions By registering and bidding in this auction, you agree to all the Terms and Conditions below, so please read all terms carefully.
1. All Items are Sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no expressed warranty or guarantee of return beyond the ability to turn on electrical items. DG Estate Liquidator will try to describe the items to the best of our knowledge using our inspection and the description from the Estate/Consigner. To schedule a time to preview this auction before the day it closes, give us a call at 775-391-0746 before this auction closes. You are responsible for inspecting and determining the quality, condition, and value of items before bidding. By placing a bid on the item, you are committing to purchasing the items at your bid plus applicable taxes and premiums, which will be invoiced as such. Please come by and look at the item in person, or email your questions before bidding, as we cannot remove bids once they are placed.
2. A buyer's Premium of 12% is added to the total winning bids at the end of the auction, along with a 3.5% credit card fee. Due to increased fraudulent bids, if you are a first-time bidder, you may be limited in your maximum allowable bid. This will change after successfully bidding and paying on your first auction. If you need a limit raised on a specific item, that request can be made by calling our office and submitting that request.
3. Shipping is available for this auction for smaller items. We cannot ship tables, coolers, chairs, booths, etc. To receive shipping, you must first make the request by email within 48 hours, and then you must pay the invoice we send you via email for just the items won at auction after your request. At this point, we will pack your items and send a second invoice just for shipping and handling. Once that is paid, we will ship your items to you. Please keep in mind there is no refund for shipping loss, i.e., broken glass, stolen mail, etc. We can send a tracking number if needed to confirm shipping.
4. The Auction will open for bidding on Monday, 11.12, and will begin closing at 5 pm Sunday, 11.17 in 15-second intervals. We use a soft close format on all our auctions, which allows fairness in last-minute bidding. If a bid is made in the last two minutes of the auction,120 seconds will be added to the end of the auction for that lot only in order to give ample opportunity for bidding.
5. By bidding on items in the auction, you commit to purchasing that item at the price you bid. You will receive an invoice after the end of the auction. Since we do not require a Credit Card to Bid, we will not have your card on file, so you must pay this either online or in person. Payment can be made at the time of pickup either by Card or Cash. Following the close of the auction, pickups must be completed within three days of the sale. A Washoe County Sales Tax will be added to your invoice of 8.265% if you purchase in the state, along with the 12% buyer's premium. Any failure to pay the bid price will be considered a breach of contract, and you will no longer be allowed to bid on our auctions. By agreeing to these terms, you accept that you are liable for your bids and will still be required to pay your bids in full. If you do not pick up your items by the end of the pickup window of 6 pm Wednesday, 11.17, they will be returned to stock, and you will be charged an additional $25.00 Relist/Stocking Fee that will need to be paid to unlock your account for future bidding. IF YOU FAIL TO PICK UP AN ITEM WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF THE PURCHASE DATE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO POSSIBLE FORFEITURE OF BOTH FEES AND GOODS. Any Chargebacks will receive a 50.00 charge added to your final invoice and then turned over for collections and prosecution.
6. Pickup is the sole responsibility of the buyer. By registering, you will hold DG Estate Liquidator and its staff harmless for any loss or damage occurring while on the property for pickup. The buyer must bring all equipment and personnel necessary to remove and load the won items. Please bring all boxes and packing materials required to move your items safely. Pickup will be based on a first-come-first-served basis. All pickups must be made from Monday to Wednesday, the week the auction closes. THESE ARE THE ONLY DAYS YOU HAVE TO PICK UP, SO PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU CAN'T PICK UP ON THESE DAYS. If you fail to pick up by Wednesday at 6 pm, your winnings and all fees will be forfeit unless you have scheduled a pickup or requested shipping.
7. You agree to allow us the opportunity to send emails/texts to you about future auctions from DG Estate Liquidator. If you don't want us to send those emails, please call us and let us know if you wish to opt-out.
**IN CASE OF AN UNEXPECTED ISSUE WITH OUR THIRD-PARTY AUCTION SITE PROVIDER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ALL BIDS AND AUCTIONS WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.**
