Condition of Goods: All items are sold "as is, where is". Maurer's Auctions has endeavored to accurately describe in our catalogs all items being sold. There are no warranties expressed or implied. No statement in this document, bill of sale, invoice or elsewhere, by any representative of or person in the employ of Maurer's Auctions shall be deemed to be a warranty representation or assumption of liability with respect to age, condition, size, quality, variety, importance or historical relevance of any item being sold.
Payment Terms: All accounts are expected to be settled by the end of the auction. We accept Visa, Mastercard or Discover card.
Sales Tax: Sales are subject to a 6% PA Sales Tax. To qualify for an exemption, you must have a reseller's tax exemption certificate on file with us. Please be sure to forward to us at maurersauctions@gmail.com at least 2 days before closing date.
Buyer's Premium: All items sold are subject to a 15% Buyer's Premium, which will be added to the successful bid price and will be payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price.
Acceptance: Final Bid is final sale and is a contract to bring sale to fruition and completion in accordance with terms.
Disputes: Auction Company reserves the right to reject any bid if deemed unfit and is the final arbiter in any dispute. Auction Company assumes no responsibility for technology, software or computer failure. We reserve the right to cancel and/or reopen the auction in the case of systems failures.
Shipping/Crating/Packing/Handling: Everything is sold "as is, where is". Shipping is NOT always offered on every lot. It is up to the buyer to make sure that shipping is offered for the lot they are bidding on. If buyer bids on and wins a lot where shipping was not offered and the buyer requires shipping, the buyer forfeits any payments and the item is resold at a later time. Otherwise the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping/handling, postage and insurance fees. Payment for items must first be received and confirmed before any merchandise is released/shipped/delivered to purchaser. Buyer assumes all shipping/handling costs. Any damage claims will be made directly to the shipping agent. Please allow at least three weeks after the auction has ended for lots to be packed. Shipping will be through a third-party shipper, such as USPS or UPS.
If you wish to pick-up your items, arrangements must be made within 1 week of the auction ending. Any items not picked up within 2 weeks will be resold with no reimbursement to the original buyer. Please call 484-941-2126 for a pick-up appointment.
Agreement of Terms: By submitting a bid on any lot offered, your bidder registration email address will indicate that you have accepted and read our Terms & Conditions Of Sale.
