By placing a bid you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. *ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS-IS" This auction has a buyer's premium of 5%. It is with the understanding from the buyer that the auctioneer has attempted to describe and provide accurate descriptions of all items. Descriptions of lots provided by auctioneer are in good faith and a matter of opinion. Descriptions are believed to be accurate but not guaranteed. Bidder may not hold Halley's Auction House liable for any mistakes in description of item including size, weight, picture quality, condition of item, etc. Halley's Auction House encourages all bidders to inspect auction items in person before bidding in order to determine the suitability for each lot. By placing a bid, bidder signifies they have examined items, or have chosen not to personally examine the item. There are no refunds, returns, buybacks, or exchanges. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Pictures are a very large part of our descriptions, as well as the bidders own judgement when viewing items at our pre-view events. If you are not able to view items in person please don't hesitate to ask questions. *PAYMENT Payment accepted are cash, check, cashier's check, major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal (credit card swipe fee is 3.50%.) Payment is due at or before scheduled pick-up dates. Items may not be removed from auction location until payment is made in full. USD funds only. Any items left after 30 days revert back to auctioneer with rights to resell the merchandise and no refund on funds made to purchase item. Checks written with insuffient funds will be charged a $30 fee on top of all bank fees. *TAXES All applicable taxes are enforced. There is a 6.5% sales tax for all South Dakota residents. All dealers must provide a valid resale number upon registration and fill out a South Dakota Resale Card for Tax Exempt Status. *SHIPPING Shipping is available on most items at buyers' expense. Total shipping price (including insurance and handling) will be quoted once item is packaged and weighed. Bidder must contact auctioneer on items that they wish to be shipped. HANDLING CHARGE OF $5.00 PER BOX WILL BE APPLIED ON TOP OF TOTAL SHIPPING CHARGES. All sales that generate more than $350 per bidder that need to be shipped will need to be paid via wire transfer or good standing check. Items will be held until all funds have cleared. *PREVIEW AND PICK-UP DATES Preview dates will be posted prior to auction. All bidders are encouraged to inspect items before bidding. Previews may also be scheduled by appointment. All items must be picked up on dates that are scheduled by auctioneer, unless other plans have been made with auctioneer prior to auction end date. Invoice must be paid in full before items can be removed from site. Items to be removed at buyers' expense. Once items have been paid for, ownership belongs to buyer- making Halley's Auction House not responsible for any accidents during the removal of said property. Many items can be delivered to Rapid City area. Please ask for details. *REGISTRATION All bidders must register. Non-paying or fraudulent bidding will subject you to legal recourse with possible criminal charges. When bidding, bidders are making a firm commitment to purchase items that are bid on and are entering into a legal and binding contract. Some items may be subject to a reserve or a confidential minimum price below in which the item may not be sold. In these cases, reserves can be set, and auctioneer may be able to bid on behalf of the consigner, owner, house, or designated bidder. Items that are not picked up after 30 days will revert back to auction house and may be sold again. Halley's Auction House reserves the right to reject any bid at sole discretion of the auctioneer. They reserve the right to cancel/reopen auction in case of system failure. Internet auctions can be error prone and unreliable; this being known, bidders agree not to hold Halley's Auction House responsible for any interruptions during online auctions. Halley's Auction House is not responsible for any damages done to persons or property during item viewing or when removing items from premises. Winning bidder removes all items at their own expense. Halley's Auction House may add, change, or delete items, auctions, or terms and conditions at any time without notice. Halley's Auction House is not responsible for any typographical errors in catalogue. Halley's Auction House has the right to modify these bidder terms and conditions per circumstance.

Items may not be removed from auction location until payment is made in full. USD funds only. Any items left after 15 days (unless prior arrangements have been made) revert back to auctioneer with rights to resell the merchandise and no refund of funds made to purchase item. Checks written with insuffient funds will be charged a $30 fee.
Settlement and pick-up date will be: Thursday, November 21st 11:00pm-3:00pm Friday, November 22nd 11:00pm-6:00pm ***Small items may be delivered to the Rapid City/Hill City area. Pick-up time and place will be determined after auction ends. Please contact us with questions. *Shipping Shipping is available on most items at buyers' expense. Total shipping price (including insurance and handling) will be quoted once item is packaged and weighed. Bidder must contact auctioneer on items that they wish to be shipped prior to paying invoice. USPS priority shipping will be used on most items, some exceptions may apply. There will be a $5 handling charge for every package sent. New shipping invoices will be sent out after shipping quote is established. These invoices may take up to 3 days to recieve. All sales that generate more than $350 per bidder that are needed to be shipped will need to be paid via wire transfer or good standing check. Items will be held until all funds have cleared.
