Auction Terms & Conditions:
ITEMS DESCRIPTION: Please be aware, we are not experts on these items. All items are photographed in many angles and described as accurately as possible, depicting blemishes, chips, cracks and overall general condition. Further details are based on information given by Consignor. Descriptions have been prepared for guide purposes ONLY and shall not be relied upon by Buyer for accuracy or completeness. View all pictures, read descriptions and ask any questions prior to bidding. All items listed and photographed are the actual item up for auction and are in As Is and As Found condition.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL and items are SOLD AS IS, in used condition with no written or assumed guarantee. NO REFUNDS, NO RETURNS and NO EXCHANGES ACCEPTED. If there is no inspection period - ask all questions prior to bidding, look closely at photos and read descriptions. If you bid and win the auction lot - item is yours. Items are sold as is, where is and as described - with all faults known and unknown. By submitting a bid, Buyer/Bidder affirms they have viewed photos for accuracy and or has waived their right to do so prior to bidding. Buyers shall be deemed to have relied entirely upon their own inspections and investigations.
BIDS: All bids are binding. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. When you register for a bidder number your credit card number may be retained and charged for your purchase. Bidder acknowledges and understands that internet service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction - Under No Circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Happy Trails Estate Sales or anyone else if their internet service fails to work correctly before, during or at the end of the auction. IF you have slow internet or phone service your bids may be missed. We suggest using the MAXIMUM BID feature. The program will bid for you at current bid increments against other internet bidders. It will NOT automatically jump to your max bid UNLESS a bidder has entered a bid close to or higher than yours. The program will bid for you when you are unable due to internet or phone service.
STAGGERED CLOSE: Lots do not close all at the same time. Lots will have a staggered closing using a mixed sequence. Follow the countdown clock on each lot to know the exact closing time of a particular lot.
SOFT CLOSE: If a bid is submitted and confirmed during the last 1 minute before closing, then the time will be extended on that lot by 1 minute. This will continue until a full minute has passed without a new bid on that lot.
SHIPPING: Unless stated in auction, we offer shipping on on most items (excluding furniture, framed art and large bulky items) - shipping availability is noted on each lot. Actual shipping costs are covered by the Buyer and will be calculated and added to invoice (or billed separately). We will contact you if special handling is required. Allow up to 10 business days for processing . Make sure to provide an accurate shipping address - we are not resposible for shipping vendors' inability to deliver to address provided. Tracking is provided upon request; however, we are not responsible for shipped items that do not arrive. Insurance is only provided upon request and at Buyer's expense.
LOCAL PICK UP: Not all items are available for shipping and will be labeled as such. Large items will be listed as local pick up only. DO NOT BID if you are unable to pick up your items during date(s) & times shown - SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE UNAVAILABLE - . If you prefer to pick up your items please let us know when registering to bid. Address will be listed on invoice. Unclaimed items will be shipped at Buyer's expense - if available - and an additiional storage/handling fee of $25 per day will be charged. DO NOT BID if you do not plan to pick up.
BUYER'S PREMIUM is 13% on all lots purchased on all payment types. We accept card on file and cash.
