• The history behind these Australian issued dolls is that Mattel Australia was the recipient of Mattel’s left-over Barbie clothing and doll parts; hence repackaged them in various outfits as they saw fit
• It has been noted that none of these dolls were packaged in combinations that were featured in any of the fashion booklets
• These outfits were often found incomplete
• There was an article written about this series of dolls in the January/February issue of Barbie Bazaar in 1997. These dolls were originally sold in blister pack packaging on hot pink cardboard, held in place with a white twist tie. They had a Barbie pedal shape sticker on the front of the packaging
• Some were dressed in 1600 series fashions and some variations of Japanese exclusive fashions
• This LHAG has luscious long and thick brunette full hair with nice bangs
• You will love her “low color” makeup with light peach lips, one pin dot of paint missing on left side (could be factory), bright blue eyes and nice matte face vinyl
• She has one pin tap earring hole at one ear, no earring hole on the other, no green
• Body appears to be excellent plus with all finger polish
• She comes dressed in a pastel pink heavy cotton pantsuit, featuring a pearl button near the collar (one button is missing), and her matching pink pants pair beautifully with the jacket. Completing the look are her pink OT heels.
• Suggested $995-$1295
