All bidders must be of legal age of majority in the province or state they reside in order to bid. REVIEWING YOUR BIDS: During an auction you can check the status of your bids at any time. Note that no bids can be withdrawn after the auction for any reason. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. BIDDING NOTIFICATIONS: You can choose to be notified by e-mail during the auction if you have been outbid. Please note that outbid notifications may not be sent out during the last two hours of the sale so it is still your responsibility to track your bids. WINNING NOTIFICATION & INVOICING: All winning bidders will receive an e-mail invoice within 24 hours the following day after the auction closing. PICKUPS: Dates and times for pickup will be posted in the Auction itself. REMOVAL: All items are sold in place. Buyers are responsible to remove items in a good workmanlike manner. Any plumbing must be shut off before being disconnected and any electrical that is disconnected must be capped. You must be bring any and all tools, equipment and labour required to disconnect and remove any items you purchase. We will only have security onsite that will not assist in any way with removal. Please plan ahead and come prepared. Any items not removed by the times shown will be deemed abandoned regardless of the price. We kindly ask that you do not bid if you are unable to have your items picked up within the scheduled pickup dates. Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times may incur a $25.00 late/storage administration fee and any items are not picked up within 14 business days after auction close will be considered abandoned and will be sold for additional storage fees. There is no cost to register for an auction (Up to $1 may be charged to validate your card by Auctionflex the first time you register). Your credit card will not be charged unless you win and do not pay within the pick up period. Bid charge When an auction closes, if you are the winner, you must attend during the allotted pick up time frame where you may pay EXACT cash, Visa, Mastercard or Debit (card must be physically present and pin used). We will not charge cards over the phone, online or entered manually). Payment Type (credit card) surcharge is on the buyer If you do not pick up during the allotted time, we will charge your card a 25% restocking fee (or $20, whichever is greater), your items will NOT be held for you and your account will be suspended. There will be a $50 admin fee to reinstate your account. By registering, you give Golden Shadow Group Inc. permission to charge these fees to the credit card you have registered with. If we are unable to charge the restocking fee the amount will be reported to the Credit Bureau. To reinstate your account there will be a $100 admin fee plus the outstanding restocking fee and Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. If you choose to abandon an item after any auction, you will be blocked from placing any further bids on any of our future auctions. As a courtesy to our customers who travel long distances or can't make a scheduled pickup for unforeseen circumstances, Golden Shadow Group Inc. provides a 1 week hold option 1. In order to qualify for a one week, hold of your won goods, Golden Shadow Group Inc. must receive FULL PAYMENT for your won items by 3pm the first Saturday after auction close. a. Only after payment is received will you be permitted to have your items held for 1 week without penalty. If your items are not picked up by 3pm the following Saturday after auction closes a $25.00 late pickup/storage fee will be applied to your invoice and charged to your credit card on file. b. If full payment is not provided by 3pm the Saturday after auction close a late payment/storage charge of $25.00 per invoice will be applied regardless of invoice size and you will be required to pay this fee plus all outstanding lot fees, buyer's premium and taxes before your items are released. c. You will also not be permitted to bid on any Golden Shadow Group Inc. Auctions until your outstanding balance is paid in full. d. If your items are not picked up by 3pm the third Saturday after auction close your items will be deemed abandoned and your entire invoice will be re-sold as one auction lot for additional storage fees. e. You will also be blocked from bidding on any future Golden Shadow Group Inc. auctions and may be blocked from bidding with other auction companies on the HiBid platform. f. If full payment is not provided by 3pm the Saturday after auction close a late payment/storage charge of $25.00 per invoice will be applied regardless of invoice size and you will be required to pay this fee plus all outstanding lot fees, buyer's premium and taxes before your items are released. 2. If you fail to pick up and pay for your won items including all late payment/storage fees, buyer's premium and taxes by the second Saturday after auction close you will be blocked from bidding on any future Golden Shadow Group Inc. Auctions. You will also be reported for non-payment to other auction companies on the HiBid platform and you may be blocked by other auctioneers on the HiBid Platform. Large items must be picked up on a weekly basis. No holds will be permitted for items marked as "NO HOLDS" Failure to pick up items marked as "NO HOLDS" by 3pm the Saturday following the auction close will result in a late/storage administration fee of $25.00 per "NO HOLDS" item being applied to your invoice and charged to the credit card on file along with all lot fees, buyer's premium and taxes. If these items are not picked up by 3pm the second Saturday after auction close your items will be deemed abandoned and your entire invoice will be re-sold as one auction lot for additional storage fees. 3. Chargeback Fee: A $25.00 fee will be billed to the bidder in case of any type of disputed transaction. CONDITIONS OF ITEMS SOLD & OUR ONLINE CATALOGUE: Our best efforts are made to represent all items accurately in descriptions and photographs; however, all items are ultimately sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. To be considered for a return but as mentioned previously that there is no returns and no refunds, customers must email gsgi@rogers.com WITHIN 24 HRS of picking up the item, describing the reason for requesting the return. If approved, the item MUST be returned to the stated location by appointment only (by 12pm on the Friday of the week or as agreed via email scheduling) the item was picked up and a credit will be placed on your account (no refunds will be given in any circumstance). Golden Shadow Group Inc. WILL NOT return an item after 12pm on the Friday of the week of pick up. There will be NO EXCEPTION to this. Customers who are unable to return by Friday or live too far away to make another trip must inspect their items THOROUGHLY before leaving the building when picking up to avoid having to make another trip. Returning the product to the stated location is at the cost and the responsibility of the bidder regardless of the item. NO PREVIEW IS ALLOWED BEFORE BIDDING. CREDIT: By allowing you to bid we are extending you credit with the condition that you agree to pick up and pay for your items during the times posted using the payment terms specified. Failure to do so is a breach of the credit terms we have entered and can result in negative credit reporting and collections. By registering, you give Golden Shadow Group Inc. We experience real costs when a customer fails to pick up their items as per the agreement and accordingly will pursue the terms of the agreement. MISSING LOT: Unfortunately with large online sales, especially sales where we don't have exclusive control of the items, items can go missing or be damaged from time to time. In the event that an item you had a successful bid on can't be located, your sole remedy is a refund of that item. No additional costs or expenses whether direct or indirect can be claimed for that item. No other items from your bill may be cancelled as a result of the missing or damaged item. SITE OUTAGE: In the event of an outage that affects bidding at any time during the closing on a sale, Golden Shadow Group Inc. at our discretion may extend the auction in its entirety or in part (including lots that may have already closed) for a period of up to 24 hours. This decision will be made based on the severity of the outage. Previously closed items may be extended as there is no 100% way to determine that they closed prior to the outage and that all bidders who intended to bid were able to bid. This is an extremely rare occurrence but in the event that it happens we need to be fair to all bidders (including those who may not have been able to bid) as well as our consignors. CLAIMS: No claims regarding goods purchased will be allowed. Bidders are reminded that all goods are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis, with all faults. All bids made in the last 2 minutes of the auction will force an item to be extended by an additional 3 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has stopped. STRATEGY: We recommend that ALL BIDDERS put in their maximum bid when placing a bid online. This does not mean you will have to pay the amount you bid; you only pay one bid more than the next highest bid, and only up to your maximum bid. The software system will play out the bids as you would at a live auction and only uses the funds required to beat out the under-bidder at the prescribed bid increment.
