This is the first of 5 auctions featuring a remarkable collection spanning 3 centuries of numismatic history, including gold coins, Morgan dollars, Peace dollars, silver eagles, and Civil War tokens. Additional highlights include continental currency, draped bust half cents, cornet head large cents, flying eagle cents, Indian head cents, and a variety of other coins such as wheat back cents, Civil War two cents, three cent nickels, seated half dimes, shield nickels, V nickels, buffalo nickels, capped bust dimes, seated liberty dimes, barber dimes, mercury dimes, Roosevelt dimes, barber quarters, standing liberty quarters, Washington quarters, seated liberty half dollars, barber half dollars, walking liberty half dollars, and bullion. Everything will sell to the highest bidders regardless of price. 18% buyer's premium applies.

Terms and Conditions
Payment: Credit cards will automatically be drafted at the conclusion of the auction. Any arrangements otherwise must be made before bidding.
Merchandise becomes the full responsibility of the bidder at time of payment and the bidder assumes all risk of loss and damage to property at that time. Lewis Auction House, LLC reserves the right to resell any property not paid for in full by the conclusion of the stated pickup period. In any such event, the bidder will still be responsible for payment for the original purchase and the costs of collection of this payment and/or damages resulting from the resale of the property.
Removal or Shipping: Winning bidders may choose to pick up their items or have their items shipped to them. Pickup is by appointment only on Wednesday, December 18 and Thursday, December 19 between the hours of 10AM-3PM
Shipping requests must be made by email to Lewisauctionhouse@gmail.com before the end of the pickup period. Items will ship for actual costs with no handling fee. Items which do not fit in a 12”x12”x12” box or are easily breakable should contact the auctioneer before bidding if you are planning on shipping. Lewis Auction House is not responsible for loss or damage to shipped items that do not fall into this category.
Anything not picked up during pickup hours will be considered abandoned property and forfeited if shipping arrangements are not made. Any items on any unpaid shipping invoice after 7 days of the shipping invoice sent will be considered abandoned property and forfeited.

Removal Assistance: All items in this auction may be picked up once Lewis Auction House, LLC has received and acknowledged payment in full. Bidders are responsible for rigging, loading, and moving all items purchased without assistance from Lewis Auction House, LLC or the third party handling pickup. Any items not removed by the pickup deadline will be considered abandoned property. Lewis Auction House, LLC reserves the right to resell the items and retain all sales proceeds as payment for accumulated, unpaid storage and handling.

All lots sell as is, where is, with all faults. Lewis Auction House, LLC and the seller do not give or make any type of guarantee or warranty regarding the lots to be sold, implied or otherwise. Lewis Auction House, LLC encourages all bidders to inspect lots in person before bidding. Lewis Auction House, LLC is not responsible for incorrect listing information, if any. Lewis Auction House, LLC has attempted to provide accurate descriptions of all items, however, it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the condition and suitability of each lot. Printed statements or descriptions by Lewis Auction House, LLC staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion.
2. No Reserves:
Each lot will sell to the highest bidder without reserve.
3. No Buybacks:
All sellers are contractually prohibited from bidding on lots they have consigned to the auction.
4. No Returns:
All sales are final. There are no returns, refunds, or adjustments.
5. Buyer's Premium:
A buyer's premium of fifteen percent (18%) of the high bid will be added to the high bid to determine the final sales price for the auction lot.
6. Sales Tax:
Lewis Auction House, LLC will not collect sales tax in this auction.
7. Payment:
Payment in full is due at the conclusion of the auction. Lewis Auction House, LLC accepts the following forms of payment: credit cards will draft automatically at the conclusion of the auction. Wire transfer and cashier's check are available for invoices over $1,000 and required for invoices over $3,500

8. Auction Ending:
Beginning at the stated closing time, the auction software will conclude bidding for five lots each minute in catalog order with the following exception: if a bid is placed in the last five (5) minutes remaining for that auction lot, bidding for that lot will remain open for an additional five (5) minutes.
9. Outbid Notification:
The bidding software will notify bidders when they have been outbid.
10. Buyer Default:
If, after the Payment Period has ended, the Buyer does not make full payment in accordance with the terms set forth above, the Buyer is considered in default and their Auction Item(s) will be re-listed in an Online Auction and a 15% re-listing fee (which You agree is a reasonable estimate of the minimum damages incurred by Lewis Auction House LLC as a result of Your failure) will be charged to their account. The re-listing fee is based upon the original selling price of the Auction Item. By registering a valid credit card with Lewis Auction House LLC, the Buyer authorizes Lewis Auction House LLC to charge applicable re-listing fees to the credit card. Buyer defaults can also occur when a buyer does not pick up an item that requires considerable effort to remove from the property. Buyer agrees to pay reasonable removal charges if necessary to remove at the end of the auction.
11. Debt Collection and Interest Charges:
The bidder agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and other costs incurred by Lewis Auction House, LLC in its efforts to collect unpaid funds from the bidder. The bidder agrees that a fee of 2% of the outstanding balance per month be added to any unpaid balance due Lewis Auction House, LLC. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Davidson County, Tennessee.
12. Guaranty Agreement:
By submitting a bid in the name of a business entity or corporation, the individual submitting the bid enters into a guaranty agreement whereby he or she personally guarantees payment to Lewis Auction House, LLC of any bid amount not paid when due by the business entity or corporation, for any reason, together with all collection expenses incurred to enforce collection, including a reasonable attorney's fee.
13. Limitation of Liability:
If, for any reason, Lewis Auction House, LLC is unable to make available or deliver any Purchase, or portion thereof, or documentation required in respect of any Purchase, the sole liability of Lewis Auction House, LLC, if any, shall be the return of monies paid in respect of such Purchase upon its return by Purchaser.
14. Age Requirement:
All bidders must be 18 years of age or older.
15. Bidder Information and Security:
All registration information the bidder provides to Lewis Auction House, LLC shall be current, complete, and accurate. All bidders are responsible for any bids placed under their bidding numbers and passwords. The security of bidder information is the responsibility of the bidder. Bidders must notify Lewis Auction House, LLC if they believe that their bidder number and password have been compromised.
