Silicone Moisture Barrier is made from repurposed paper that is environmentally safe and made of 100 percent recycled contents. Install with the smooth side up for easily marking chalk lines and sliding planks into position.. For use with staple and nail down installations of solid engineered and laminate wood floors or floating Vinyl Plank floors to reduce vapor flow without trapping moisture. Made of 100 percent recycled materials consisting of 6 mil wet strength paper with a baked silicone coating for moisture impermeability under wood flooring. Helps reduces dust levels during installation to contribute to a more environmentally friendly workspace. Lab tested and approved for use with radiant heat systems. Will not release an asphalt odor when used with radiant heat systems. Clean and easy to use with no residue transfer that leaves marks on hands or walls. Smooth top surface for easily marking chalk lines and sliding planks into position. 33.5 in. X 72 ft. For 200 sq. Ft. Coverage. For best results tape seams with an underlayment tape sold separately.
